Modern Age Dentistry

This company has made a new company name & Yelp page, likely because they had such awful reviews under their prev. name, Dr. Saeghi & Associates. That alone is suspicious enough - they had to change their damn name but they have the same exact address! Let me just be clear, AVOID THIS OFFICE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. I sympathize with everyone who has been scammed & who's teeth have been messed up by this horrible practice. I was flat out lied to, hung up on, yelled at, & overcharged repeatedly by this office by the front desk staff and the dentists - they are all in it together. Just because they play sweet receptionist, or helpful doctor doesn't mean they aren't fully aware of the scam operation.

In short, I was lied to about this office being in my insurance network which kicked off a MUCH higher bill from the get-go. I was lied to about how many cavities I had (I got a second opinion the same month), they didn't get all of the cavity out of the one tooth I let them mess with despite drilling the hell out of it, & they did such a bad scaling job on my bf that he had to have the same exact procedure done at our new dentist. The new dentist had NO idea he had just had this done, & recommended he get a full scaling because his mouth was in such bad shape! When he got it done at our new trustworthy, patient, & up front dentist, you could visible tell the difference. They also tried to make us pay for our own x-rays, when they knew we were leaving, but I know my rights, so I didn't let them get me there.

The worst part of all is they charged me for over a $1000 of services I did not receive and refused to refund me! I held my ground & filed disputes & complaints with my health insurance company, CareCredit, & the Dental Board of CA. I kept all of my paperwork, documented everything, & finally, months and months later I was sent a check refunding me for all the overcharges! I was told there was nothing that could be done at first but persistence!
