In my 9+ years living at Summerset II Apts, I have had the opportunity to work along-side Perry Guest Property Management. I can honestly say that I have never found one that parallels the excellent service, depth of knowledge and professional conduct that Patty in the main office offers. She is quick to please her tenants, and get things done around the property as they are needed. Thank you Patty for being awesome!
If you cancel your membership as an account rep, make sure you get an email that confirms you cancelled. They charged me for 8 more months and said they had no time stamp that I cancelled. Horrible company. Horrible rates for their customers.
If I could give this company no stars, I would. I currently live in one of their buildings and it's been the worst experience. They spent NO money on insulation, I can hear when the neighbor COUGHS, walks, closes cabinet doors, EVERYTHING. If you like peace and quiet when you get home, you're never gonna find it here, EVER. Ghetto tenants with no consideration for their neighbors and by the way, this building is technically uptown. Can't wait to move far away from these trashy people. The worst.
I am a Realtor and I used to like working with Perry Guest Co...but after a few months, I learned they have a terrible sales staff. They're extremely rude and unorganized, they don't keep their listings updated, causing me to waste time touring properties that are not available. I missed a call from Matteo Faeth (Partner, Investment Services Division) because I was on the phone with a client and couldn't answer, so he emailed me "I just tried calling you. If you can't make a 1 minute phone call then don't rent from us. "...Wow.
I live at the 4931 Gaston Ave property, where a neighbor's pitbull has attacked and severely injured two dogs and its owner. These people had only lived here for six weeks and their dog attacked TWICE. Animal Control took it the second time for a 10-day quarantine, but Perry Guest has decided to LET THE DOG RETURN. And also gave zero notice to any of us whose dogs have been attacked.Furthermore, they've just let ANOTHER pitbull move in. This property is a small 24-unit building with a very small enclosed courtyard.Patti and Nicole, on behalf of Perry Guest told me that our pets are not their business. I told them they are responsible for providing a safe living environment, they said they were not. This conversation was recorded.They told me I could just move out if I didn't like it. These people do not care about you or anything about your safety. If you have pets or children especially, DO NOT MOVE TO A PERRY GUEST PROPERTY.
Perry Guest is the worst property management company I have ever dealt with. The level of professionalism from the CEO down to the leasing specialist is completely piss poor. Rather than solving the infestation problem in my apartment unit, they simply did everything in their power to run me out with no appropriate accommodations. If you are looking to live in the Dallas area, do not lease from any of their properties unless you do not care about quality.
I don't even want to give this company 1 star because they are undeserving of even that. I have never had a phone call returned or answered when regarding a mantience issue. They never send any notices saying when they will change the heat and air and my animals got very sick because of this and when people complained they told them they were being ridiculous for leaving the air on for their animals. These people do not care about other people or their animals at all. This is the worst management team I have ever come across in all of Dallas and I will make sure I spread the word for no one ever to move into one of their properties. I will post on every internet site and on every building they own so everyone knows that they are awful, disgusting excuse for a management company. If I see someone even trying to look to move into an apartment or place owned by them I will tell them to run in the other direction. I will make my voice heard until someone at this company starts to act like a decent human being and has respect for their tenants that pay their wages.
Absolutely horrible ! Everything that this other guy says is true ! They just tore up the yard and started remodeling a property in a historical district with no permits or permission from the historical society to do so !! they treat tenants like animals !
DO NOT RECOMMEND, BAD COMPANY, BAD PEOPLEPerry Guest Co. is absolutely the worst management company. Glenda Guest is an atrocious woman that lacks human compassion. I had to call this poor excuse for a human being to report a homeless person vandalizing her building and she was actually upset about me calling. Do not list your number as a number to call if you do not want to field calls especially when it comes to the safety of a property they manage. These people like to pretend that they are fixing up apartments they buy, but they hire cheap laborers to make cosmetic fixes in order to hike up the price of rent. The foundation in the building is causing the building to crack and have plumbing issues and all they do is paint, put fake snap hardwood floors, and some new appliances. This will not fix the many plumbing issues or the fact that you have to worry the roof is going to cave in! These so called workers will also be at your complex for all hours trying to complete these fixes for months. The owner Sasha is a face you’ll see often, but he is just a cheap salesman feeding you lies of a better place to live. For example, an elderly woman taking care of her grandson asked these people for the decency of giving her 2 months’ notice if they were going to raise rent and they told her do not worry it won’t happen for a couple of months. Not even a week later notices were sent out that everyone had 30 days to leave or pay the extra rent for 12 months. I understand they are a business and money is the ultimate goal, but there should be more care for tenants who build their business and provide the cash flow they require to grow. You don’t lie and harass people to get ahead. The people working for Perry Guest Co. lack morals, compassion, and generally are void of any human trait that make a person a good person. Shame on them and shame on you if you use this company to manage your property.
