Found car listing on Offer Up App. Wish I never responded to it. Car had many unadvertised issues from the start. Car was not a certified used car as many other legit used dealers. Car needed front rotors and breaks that my Wife spotted while on the lot a he went halves on cost. Does not have his own mechanic but subs work out with another business. Engine hood dropped on my back twice while I had to change out the old oil. That's when I remembered he held the hood up while my wife and I looked at it. Had to call him and he did replace the $21 struts. Has a very bad engine miss next day. I thoughti it was the transmission slipping and when I called him he blamed us for miss using the car. We bought a power train warranty same day as sale and he said if we get the transmission fixed he would by car back. Took the car back to the shop he subs work to and they said car was not mech maintained and was over due for plugs and all coils at a cost of around $800. Power steering goes in and out. This car has many issues that were not mentioned under the guise of sold "as is". That term Not mentioned in listing. He does not know what he is selling IMO. We will never be back. Will go for my daughters car at a more trustworthy dealer.
Bought a car from Jonathan's Auto and had a great expieriance. From getting all the information I needed about the car I bought to the professional staff that helped us out every step of the way. Could not say enough about their team and would highly recommend people stop in if they are in the market for a used car.
Jonathan, the owner, was very helpful in helping me finding a reliable car to get me back and forth to work from Harrisburg. Was very honest and upfront and helped me in my financial situation. Would highly recommend Jonathan's Auto Outlet to anyone looking for an affordable reliable vehicle. The office staff was great as well, very friendly and very helpful.
I found a nicely-priced car on their site through AutoTrader, so I called and booked a test drive. They had the car pulled up out front, immactulate inside and out, and let me take it for a drive on my own (most dealers ride along and have you drive a pre-set route). Paul was wonderful: knowledgable, helpful, friendly, and he (as well as the owner and his wife) foster a car buying experience that is low on pressure, and high on customer satisfaction. I'd give these guys more stars if I could, and would highly recommend their business to anyone in the market for a used car.
My husband drove 2 hours to look at a vehicle after speaking to Jonathan himself about a 2006 Dodge Durango. Jonathan assured my husband that there was absolutely no rust on the vehicle or cosmetic damages. After driving 2hrs, the disappointment in the lies about the vehicle is beyond belief. The back bumper was cracked and had several big "dings", rotors were rusted that it almost didn't move when the dealer tried to move it, fog lights have water inside, the headlights are "foggy" and the rust on the bottom side of the driver's door and the back passenger side was unbelievable. The driver's seat was ripped to pieces. Highly recommend not going here for a vehicle.
Horrible dealer. Plays mind games. Sold me a car with bad front tires and no gas in the tank. Car also has funny smell that wont go away. Car also had minor damage not disclosed in the write up. This guy sells cars that are a lot of money but is VERY cheap when it comes to making things right. Want to just choke him!
People are so "easily" impressed about this VERY SMALL car dealership. Dealer sold me a car that could not be inspected. Talked over me on the phone and seemed to be looking out for their own best interest. Car was clean when purchased i'll say that, however, seller didn't disclose certain flaws with the car that I didn't notice until after I got it home, which they should have noticed. Gave me a very hard time and the run around about getting things fixed that he said on the listing were fine. Said he would fix, but NEVER did. They will tell you what you want to hear, but when it comes to helping you, forget it. They wont. Avoid at all cost. You will always find something better and cheaper. His prices are definitely NOT the most reasonable.
The guys here helped me out with a car purchase. They have a good website that displays their cars with detail so I knew what the car looked like inside and out before I went to their shop. All in all the car was as described, we worked out a payment I could afford the car has been great for the last 6 months since I bought it :)
