I don't usually write reviews for businesses, but when one stands out, I feel I must. I have tried many laundromats in the West Chester area, and the laundromat on gay street stands out. It is so much cleaner than the other laundromats. It smells like laundry when you walk in the door. I also feel like my clothes are also cleaner using these machines. Someday, when I feel like spoiling myself, I may try the wash and fold. $1 a lb. seems like a decent price.I say, check it out!
I recently took my clothes here and when I got home I noticed grease stains on several items. When I contacted the owner he basically said tough,I don't give a damn. I then texted him and he told me to send photos, which I did. I have been calling and texting him for about THREE WEEKS and he will not reply.DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS CRAPPY PLACE. Itold you i was going to tell everyone how terrible this place is, here you are, serves you right. Also the place was filthy dirty which should have been my first clue. DON'T USE LOADS OF FUN LAUNDROMAT!!!!!!
My clothes got stuck in the washer machine and the owner just left he turned around and came back to remove my clothes then gave me money back for the wash, very nice gesture. the wifi is good so I can complete my work. I will be coming back here
I brought my black dress shirt to them and was shocked when I got it back. It was burned and discolored. There were permanent creases made around the shoulders. Underneath the collar were additional discoloring burns that turned the black cloth into a grayish white. I asked for a refund. They said all their shirts are like this. I asked if they would show me. They brought out a bunch of shirts and all had discolored markings and creases from poor handling/treatment. I do not recommend this cleaner.
I love parkway dry cleaners. They always seem to get out my toughest stains and have great customer service. I love taking my clothes in to be altered as I can trust they will be well looked after. Family owned business - so love supporting them as well!
