Back say 10 yrs the Pallas used to be the restaurant to be at. The food was great and there was always a wait for a table. Lots have changed since then. I had the Papa's fried chicken and it was extremly dry and the coating was tasteless. We also had the pork loin which was very rubbery.

You have options of getting an appetizer 2 entrees and dessert for $20 which you would think is a great deal but the choices are slim.

Needless to say I won't be returning but going to Genesis instead

Bland food

Have a disappointing dinner there! Oven fried potatoes were boiled unseasoned potato wedges that had never seen an oven. Shish kabob were tasteless. Waitress sympathized but did nothing. Owner did not even respond to our concerns. Well never return!!!!

"Terrible Restaurant"

If you don't like roaches, then I would stay away from the Pallas Restaurant!

I am a salesman and I am on the road quite a bit. I stop at many restaurants each week, all over the State.

I stopped at Pallas about a year ago, just for a quick cup of joe. While sitting at the snack bar and drinking my coffee, I thought I saw something move on the wall in front of me. I looked closer and saw a roach, about an inch and a half long walking up the wall, near the salad area. Even though I wasn't eating, it immediately made me sick to my stomach and made me check my seat to make sure there were none under me!

I know the owner, not well, but someone had introduced him to me some time ago. I noticed he was sitting right next to me talking with a patron. So I slowly stood up, walked over to him and whispered in his ear: I hate to tell you this and I dont want to make a scene, but there is a cockroach crawling up the wall over there.

He looked up, saw it and whispered back to me: Thanks I will take care of it. He then got up and went into the kitchen. I few seconds later, a young boy came out with a step stool and placed it below that area. He proceeded to climb up and began to wash the wall (I guess to try and make it look like he was just cleaning). He slowly made his way towards the roach and then quickly snatched it up!

I paid for my coffee and left.

Ironically enough, I stopped back in there just last week to meet a business associate. It was his idea to meet there. While I sat at the same snack bar waiting for him to return from the restroom, before I could even order a cup of coffee, I saw another roach almost in the exact same place as last time!!! I was totally shocked! For a moment, I thought I was seeing things but no, it was definitely there!

When my friend returned I quickly ushered him outside and explained why. We went somewhere else.

The first time I had that experience was enough for me to stay away. But, to actually have the same experience almost a year later really spooked me! The thought of their kitchen just makes my skin crawl! I cant imagine what it must be like back there.

Management better start calling the exterminator just a bit more often. Youd think that they would have figured that out already. Apparently not!
