This place is fantastic, dropped off my suit for an interview and was supposed to pick it up before Monday, so went on a Saturday around 4:15 (they close at 4) the door was locked, lights wher off but could see the 2 clerks inside, they opened the door as soon as that saw me and told me gently that they were closed and system was turned off, I begged them to reopen and to my surprise they did without even the slightest attitude, this place is phenomenal and proves their employees received proper training in customer service.
Beware of false advertising. There is a sign in the shop that offers a 15% discount on services for "drop off" (not delivery) if you "Check in" to this FB page. Well, I "dropped off" my blazers and "checked in," even "liked," this FB page both on drop off and pick up, but do you think the girl working the till honored this discount? No, she did not. When I picked an order for my wife, the same cashier wold not take any payment other than cash, even though they have signs everywhere saying "credit cards accepted." I was basically forced to pay cash, since the cashier said that she could not "undo" a sale that had just been rung up on the register. She said that she didn't know how. I asked about the owner the last time I was here, and I asked about them this time too. The cashier's answer was, "oh, she's sometimes here in the mornings." No name, no number to call. Owner of Quality Plus, are you listening? If you'd like me to continue as your customer, please private message me.
Amy is a fantastic owner who cares about her customers. I have received nothing but exceptional customer service and quality at this cleaners and will continue to be a loyal patron!
brought a dress in to be cleaned. it came out worse than when it went in. there were no stains when it went in. brought it back they said they will take care of it and when my husband went to pick it up they had the gall to charge him when it was supposed to be a redo. i came home saw the dress still had the same stain! I went in and demanded my money back. The owner apologized and tried to say it was the first time it had been brought in and I said no it wasn't I got my money back but she tried to talk me onto a "courtesy" cleaning and I said no thank you and walked out. I wouldn't being anything there again
This place has repeatedly misplaced my belongings. I strongly advise you to steer clear. The owner is very rude and nasty as well.
if they were cab drivers i'd get out and walk. if they had a restaurant i'd go home and cook.if they sold jewelry i'd bring my own loupe.but they don't. they clean clothes. or do they? one job these people have: clean clothes, get them back to customers on time. they have failed consistently at this charge and i will not return to them. what's more is the smarmy owner is more interested in apologizing than she is in actually figuring out solutions to messes she and her employees caused. self-ingratiating attitudes are cheap (opposed to their services). she acts as if she were selling me snake oil in a bazaar in morocco... very untrustworthy... and it shows.
I decided to bring my wedding gown in for cleaning and preservation. Three employees looked at me like I was crazy and had no idea what I was asking for even though there was a sign on the window about these services. Then I'm given 3 different prices at separate times, increasing each time. Then I was told my dress would be ready in about a week. No one called me. Three weeks later I found out it had been done weeks ago and no one bothered to let me know. The cleaning appears to be pretty decent, even though it cost me an arm and a leg and they jacked up my specialty hanger with my new last name on it. Steer clear, they aren't trustworthy.
They got you fooled Edgar MyersI have been a customer of theirs for a couple of years now. I went to drop of 4 garments of clothing. Two shirts, one pants, and a dress (linen shirts and pants two white and one Ivory and the polyester dress was Ivory) for a wedding on Oct 5, 2013. I dropped them mid of last week. When I went on Monday (Sept 30th) to pick them. The linen where pick and the dress a peach color. They first try to play it off like it was the lighting in the store. I took it with me to work and ask my co-works if it look pink or if it was me. All said that is was pink and peach. So I called the store and told them that I was bringing it back and the lady there said it was fine. But before I took them back I went back to Macy were I had purchased the items and picked up another white pants to show them what the color should be. When I took it back to the cleaners the lady saw the new pants and agree that the clothed had be discolored. She try to say that it might have been from the chemicals. She then took them back and told me that they where going to enhance the clothes to try to get the color back. She talk to the manager and explain the situation, she told me it should be ready on Wednesday 10/2/13. I picked up on Thursday and the garments still looked the same expected the dress was a little better in color but not the right color. I was frustrated and ask to speak to the manager and the own and neither of them want to talk to me. I ask for a refund for what I purchased the garments for and I had the receipt for the clothes. He refuse to pay for what my clothes cost so I can by new clothes for the wedding. Its my best friends wedding and we were all to dress in white for the ceremony. We are upset because its fall and most store don't carry linen so its hard to find. i called today to speak and see him but he has not made contact with me. I keep getting the run about. So now i have buy another set of clothes and throw away the money I spent. All I want is the money I paid for the clothes. Which is 125 and change and the 11 dollars ti spent to dry clean them.
Where do I begin?! How bout WOW! Quality work at affordable prices! The place is always packed with customers like if its a poll voting station! That's got to say something?! They can't all be wrong?! I don't know how they do it ?! But sign me up!!
I have been a customer of Cedar Cleaners for a while and hoped I would get better service. The cleaners destroyed one of my suits that were very expensive, and after trying to work with Amy (the owner) for over a month I still have not gotten reimbursed for the suit. This is very disappointing because we have supported her business for so long, and one would hope for better service with this situation.I will probably be taking legal action over this issue, and I would advise anyone to be aware of this type of response when dealing with Amy over these types of situation from this establishment.
