Lots of excuses and trying to turn it around on cuatomer. Not a very family friendly place. I am a united states veteran and i would not recomend to any veterans or parents with kids.

i had faith and patience that they could rent me a place to live, however, they had all kinds of excuse for you with very bad manner of speaking. i think the office people should be politeness for people. i feel my heart is broken when i deal with them. i even feel my body is shaking that i never had that bad experience to deal with people.
I've been renting for 3 months now. Here are the facts:On the first day I moved in 2 heaters were broken. It took about a month for P.Nolen to fix them. My dishwasher was leaking, in fact it still does. One guy came once took a look and with the verdict :" it's leaking, needs a gasket" , left. Nothing changed, my multiple messages to P. Nolan are unreplied. The washer and dryer in the laundry room are crazy noisy, sounds like something is broken there . Seriously, I don't know how the people behind the wall can stand this noise. In general laundry room and appliances there are dirty, dusty. Never seen anyone taking care of it. Carpet in my apartment is very old , just begging to be replaced. These are the facts. To rent from P.Nolen or not the decision is yours. Maybe I am unlucky with the apartment but very happy my rent expires in 3 months .
Ive been renting from Peter Nolan for several Year's, and have lived in my place for 10 years. Peter Nolen and his staff have been awesome. I know that he does care about his tenants. He and his wife have gone the extra mile to make sure that all of my tenant needs have been met. They are very busy taking care of their many properties, so with a little patience, your tenant issues will be met. Yes, there is an initial deposit to see rental properties, but that is not so unusual. Most listings have photos that you can see online. Mr. Nolen has always been friendly and is willing to help his tenants in any way that he can. He once called me on Thanksgiving because my stove had broken down on me. He and his wife was worried that I wouldn't have a Thanksgiving. I would recommend Peter Nolen Properties to anyone.
We have read the other reviews and don't understand what they are talking about?? Yes you do have to fill out an application before getting inside their rentals but they have pictures on line. Peter himself made an appointment with us after our work and showed us three properties, was really nice to us and our kids and his wife is really nice too. The whole process only took three days. I highly recommend them for a rental house!
Don't go through this company. They don't care about people. They charge application fees prior to showing you an apartment and try to get you to put a deposit down that they will never refund if you don't like the property. I was shown two apartments today that need to be inspected by the city and torn down for safety reasons. I can't believe Peter Nolen showed me these properties with a smile on his face. He should be ashamed. I was shown a third apartment that was better only because the first two were so bad and I am motivated to move. If I hadn't wasted $70 on application fees, time, and energy with this company I would be going to some one else.
