Overall

There is no comparison between Suburban, who charges you fees for everything living thing and E&V. Since switching to E&V, the price has been remarkable! What was I thinking having Suburban commit highway robbery year after year.



Also you can get a top off the next day after calling them. Unlike Suburban who were "too busy" and would schedule you well into two weeks after the call.

I switched my energy company from Agway to E&V when Suburban bought Agway out. This has proven to be the best move I could make. E&V has been outstanding in every phase of their business, from customer service to maintenance, timely oil delivery, and installation of an upgraded heating system. I have told my neighbors about E&V, and those that have switched to E&V couldn't be more pleased.

E&V Energy provides service that always meets or exceeds customer expectations. Dependable delivery of propane, properly servicing the equipment (a service person recently change the regulator on our tank and made sure the heater was operating satisfactorily after he bled the air from the line). We also had our furnace serviced to make sure we'll have dependable heat for the winter. We've always found the people from E&V to be courteous and cheerful while serving our needs. I frequently recommend them.

We too used Suburban Propane for many years and could not believe the difference in the price when we called E&V Energy! They have been great - all the staff is knowledgeable and courteous. We recommend them to everyone who moves in the area! Thank you so much!

After many years of paying Suburban Propane's high fuel oil prices and dealing with other issues with that company, we finally got smart and looked around for a different heating service provider. E&V Energy has fulfilled all of our expectations and then some. Their staff are uniformly knowledgeable, courteous, and service-minded. Prices are fair. I like being able to call their office to schedule an oil delivery and pre-pay with a credit card over the phone. For me that is more convenient than regular billing. We are on the annual service plan and have found it to be a good value with our older furnace. One time this past freezing winter we woke up on a Sunday morning to no heat and were relieved to have a service person arrive quickly and solve the problem. Mimi and Tom, Cortland, NY

I have been very satisfied with the service I have received from E&V Energy for the last three years. We had an issue come up with our old furnace multiple times and each time a technician was out to the house quickly and took as much time as was needed to try to fix the problem. All of the staff we have dealt with have been helpful and courteous. Their prices are also very competitive in comparison to other local heating companies. I would recommend E&V to anyone in need of a heating provider.

After having heating problems go unresolved by other heating contractors we called E&V. They responded to our call promptly (at night) and resolved our heating issues. They enrolled us in their service program and we have been completely satisfied with their service and annual check-up of our heating system.

We have used E&V Energy as our propane supplier for the last 9 years and we are 100% satisfied. Their prices are very competitive, especially with the prompt pay discount. They also installed a new Trane furnace for us in 2009 and a new Trane air conditioner in 2011. Both units have given us outstanding performance. Their installers and maintenance people are top-notch: courteous, knowledgeable, and always quick to respond. I would recommend E&V to any homeowner in central NY.

SEEM TO KEEP CHANGING THE DEAL

UNTIL RECENTLY EVERYTHING HAD BEEN GREAT. THEN THEY TOLD ME THAT I NEEDED TO GET A NEW PROPANE TANK BECAUSE I USED TO LITTLE. THIS WAS SUPPOSEDLY AT NO COST TO ME, BUT THERE WAS A COST. SO THEN I ASKED HOW MUCH TO BUY THE TANK AFTER FIVE YEARS IT HAD DEPRECIATED ABOUT 5%. 1650.00 LATER THEY DECIDED THAT NOW I NEED TO PAY A 200.00 DOLLAR FEE BECAUSE I USE TOO LITTLE PROPANE... I AM UNIMPRESSED AND LOOKING FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO SUPPLY MY PROPANE.
