Southern Dental Baybrook

I went to Southern Dental at 1249 W. Bay Area in Webster Texas in October of 2015; they told me to pay over 400 for my daughter to have some fillings done, and nothing for mine and my other two kids cleanings. So, of course I did, that was not including what my insurance was paying.

Once all was said and done, insurance has paid and the insurance told me my portion is really only a little over 100 dollars. Southern Dental is telling me I STILL owe over 400 dollars. Southern Dental told me it does not matter what the agreement between them and my insurance company is, that I owe what the insurance won't pay, which still does not add up to what Southern Dental says I owe.

Nothing they billed me in the first bill is what they billed my insurance company. The difference between my bill and my insurance company charges is substantial.
They are fraudulent and dishonest run as fast as you can away from them!!!

This place can not seem to to get their patients in to see the dr in a timley manner. 2 times i have sat for over a hour to see the dentist and finally walked out. They are rude and will not give you a tooth brush at the front desk. Who does not keep tooth brushes at a dentist? The only nice employee at the front is gabe.

The best part of visiting this office was the very nice make receptionist. We got more helpful info from him than we did from the dentist. Also, the dentist had HORRIBLE bedside manner. I took my father in more than once for a recurring problem. Finally, through talking to the receptionist- out of frustration- he suggested what the problem might be...and he was right!!! When I asked the dentist why she hadn't thought about that, she shook her finger at me like I was a 5 yr old and said that's a question for a specialist. Only go there if you like being scolded for asking questions.

I was very upset with this facility. My husband had finally received decent dental insurance and the only place in Clear Lake I could find that took our insurance was Southern Dental. I scheduled an appointment for my 8 year old daughter, because she had a lot of dental problems. They told me they could see her. We waited for 2 & 1/2 for them to tell us that they could not do anything for her. They told us she needed to see a child dentist. Why would they schedule an appointment for her after I had even ask if they saw children? Now I have to find another dentist for her. It was a waste of time and the dentist who saw my daughter was extremely rude and made me feel like the worse mother in the world. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The wait is too long and they have no bed side manner.
