Technician came out to the house, said we didn't need additional freon, then proceeded to charge me for it before he left and claimed he just added it in - over $250 and the air still doesn't even get cold. Called, they said there was nothing they could do. Beware - this is not a reputable company.

I needed a good AC service. I did a search of all AC Service rating sites I could find on the web and found 25 reviews of Tuffy’s, more reviews for Tuffy’s than for any other service. Tuffy’s has an A+ rating from the BBB and the BBB info on Tuffy’s goes back to 2004. The average rating for all ratings from all services was 4.5 which was higher than any other service. I hit the jackpot with Tuffy’s AC & Heating Service. When I call, Nadine & Jessica are nice and efficient. Angel came out last year & today – he takes care of business – he is friendly and answers all questions! He is very good at explaining what he has done. I read similar positive comments about other techs -- Al, Richard, & Steve. The cost was reasonable. I highly recommend Tuffy’s AC & Heating Service. In case the reader is wondering, I did not know anyone connected with Tuffy’s prior to doing my research and I do not know anyone who works at Tuffy’s or any other AC company in Weatherford.

First-rate business. Excellent customer service before and after the installation of a new HVAC system. The salesman was the only one (of many!) to carefully measure and examine our home to ensure there would be no problems installing the inside unit in our small utility closet. Everything that was promised was done, the price was quite reasonable. I was very glad to find a contractor who kept his word, was extremely professional and HONEST! Well done!

Sunday afternoon, AC stopped cooling. I called, they helped troubleshoot over the phone when that didn't work, they came right out, checked the unit, quickly fixed "the" problem. Technician (Angel) was extremely competent and efficient; as well as, very polite and friendly. This was what a 5-star professional service call should be judged against. Tuffy's will be my "Go-To" company for AC & Heating service or sales.
