If the way I was treated yesterday is how they treat their family, I feel sorry for their family. They wouldn't listen to me as I tried to explain the problem and determined that the gas lines (under a new patio) were put in incorrectly by my propane licensed plumber. As we tried to explain how the gas lines ran, they told us we were wrong. Then they proceeded to charge us for a service they didn't do. When I called this morning to complain, the lady who answered the phone was very nice but the man she had call me back had the same attitude as the men who came to the house. Maybe they just don't like doing business with women.

Mrs. DeGarmo, as we tried to politely explain several times, we can't legally put gas in your propane tank. Your lines were not installed by a licensed propane plumber by his own admission and the state's registry; he also did not use Railroad Commission approved underground piping per NFPA 58 or the Trac Pipe manufacturer guidelines. We also never cashed your check and mailed it back to you per your request the next business day. Our Co-Owner is a woman and we have zero problems with doing business with any gender. We are very sorry that you had problems with an incorrect installation but we try to keep our customers safe, just like we keep our family and sometimes we have to be the bearer of bad news for the sake of safety. Glad you are still safe and continue to be.
These folks are just good people - very friendly !!! They care about their customers and their community and it shows. They are focused on providing great customer service and safety - you can tell that this is a family business -- they treat just as if you were part of their family!!! Go see them or give them a call and you won't be dissappointed.
The owners of Texas Butane and their staff are awesome. They treat you like real family and accommodate your request in a prompt, professional, courteous manner. Being family owned, the owner is very active in the business and never hesitates to answer your calls and satisfy your request right away. I have over 30 years in Customer Service Management experience and this company is a rare find these days. The work hard to earn your business and really want "Customers For Life".
