Waynesville Pharmacy

So here it is 5 yrs later and I still consider waynesville pharmacy my favorite for personal service and care. I am NOT family and have never told the pharmacy I have rated them on yp. My most recent experience involves the owners walking my prescriptions outside the store, to my car so I did not have to wake up my sick child to go in and get his medicine. This type of customer service would never happen at a major pharmacy chain.

I walked in and was immediately greeted with a smile and a hello. When I got to the drop off window, yet another smile and hello from another employee. There was a since of warmth and true welcome. I had never visited this pharmacy before and yet was greeted as if I was a loyal customer who had been going there for years. This is very rare to experience any more, most employees i encounter in the retail world tend to not "pay attention" to their customer but more so to the clock and their co workers weekend experiences.



When the pharmacist called me to the window for my pick up she explained everything about my childs medication BEFORE she handed me the form to sign off on. My past experiences at pharmacys conisted of being handed the medicine, asked if there were any questions and shoved an authorization form in my face for a signature....Waynesville Pharmacy wasn't like this, I truly felt the pharmacist enjoys her job and cares for her customers. Very important to me as a mother of 2 young children.



As I had my youngest child with me, who is yet to be out of diapers, we had the need for a changing station. Eventhough there was not one available, I was invited to the back of the store to take care of my child. Much more pleasant than having to run out to the car and change his diaper on the backseat of the car.



Everything about this pharmacy was wonderful, from the greeting to the send off. A rarity in these days.
