If you're concerned about the safety of your hard earned dollars don't put it here. Had an unauthorized $50.00 debit. Bank cannot tell who the charge is from. Immediately went to the branch and closed our accounts. Still have charges coming in and the bank is paying them and charging me a $25.00 "courtesy" fee for each charge. I thought closing my account would close it!
Horrible customer service and archaic technology. It can take up to ten days for a check from an in-state, major bank (BoA) to clear.Their on-line "e-pay" system is a joke. It's faster to mail your bills than to pay them through Mountain Credit Union's on-line banking.When (not if) MCU screws up your account, it's next to impossible to get a manager on the phone, IF they even answer the phone.
I love this Credit Union! Friendly tellers, great service... and the lowest fees on the planet... Great job!
There are few pros and many cons, however I found out today if drive thru teller doesn't like the credit union's customer (thru no fault of their own) she will purposely place the pen, the one you need to sign with, to the back of the drawer to cause you a lot of trouble to reach it. Instead of opening my car door and inadvertently hitting side of building I conveniently used pen from my console. I would list all the pros and cons, but I am uninterested in making the institute look bad. I believe the 2-star rating is fair.
these folks are the best, will work with you anyway they can to help you with your finances savings, checking loans, all you have to do is go talk to them, they are honest and up front, friendly and so helpful, I would reccomend them to anyone, VJC member for over 5 yrs. now.
