Restaurant #E960038 Portion sizes not constant or worth the costI ordered several meals for my family of 5 from the Drive Thru, mine was the Famous Bowl meal with a biscuit instead of the cookie, but when I arrived home and settled down to eat my meal I was thoroughly dissatisfied with my purchase I noticed immediately my Famous Bowl was very slim on the serving, it had less than 1/4”, yes, I measured it as well as took pictures of mashed potatoes and the corn was just barely scattered on top with gravy on the side, by the way I was charged extra for the gravy that should have came with the meal for free. As for the meal itself, there was just enough mashed potatoes to cover the bottom of the dish, with the cheese and the corn it was slightly less than 1/4” deep, it was not even filled half way, as a matter of fact the fork would not even stand up in the dish because there was not enough potatoes to support it, I had to lean it up on the chicken pieces so you could get an idea of the depth. I’m disappointed that I certainly did not receive $5.50 worth of a meal, and would be interested in knowing if KFC has a standard measurement for servings of the famous Bowl as they do for the chicken piece in their other meals or the dipper sizes for the corn and the green beans when you order them as single servings. As for the workers and I believe the management personnel were very nice and respectful and even served me with a smile, but the servers in back need to be retrained on what a proper serving is and keep it consistent and if they are serving what the Management or owner is telling them, then it is bad Business etiquette. I have eaten at other KFC in and around the CSRA and have never been served this skimpy of a meal before.
I was home on military leave and took my wife and family to this Taco Bell before seeing Star Wars. After going through the drive-thru and rushing to the movie theater, I found that we were given the entirely wrong order of much fewer/cheaper items. After the movie, I returned to Taco Bell, and the manager refused to even come to the counter to talk to me and made some poor cashier tell me that they would not help due to the delay in my compliant (as if I should have skipped a sold-out movie to help them fix an order they messed up). I called the regional manager the next week who assured me that a refund would be sent to my home, but it never arrived. The cashiers are okay here and do their best, but this Taco Bell is a failure at all other levels of managements.
