Food is always good, but service is hit or miss at any location I've been to.
Sometimes I have a super attentive waiter or one that gets lost often. Yesterday I had a sweet waitress, but the table next to us had a much more attentive waiter who often checked on them replenishing their endless shrimp and cheddar biscuits. We had to wait a bit to even have our order taken as another waiter noticed and came by to ask if anyone has helped us. I think our waitress was just overwhelmed with all the tables she was covering, but she truly was sweet.
Endless shrimp for all tonight, but the faves were the new Mediterranean shrimp and the scampi. The fried shrimp were small, oily, and sloppily breaded. Coconut shrimp were smaller versions of the appetizer size, but were a bit over cooked as the breading was almost chestnut brown. The shrimp Alfredo was generous in portion, but a scant portion of tiny shrimp were thrown on top of one of my family's plates. However, being endless, there was no way one could walk out of here hungry. $17.99! Can't go wrong with the price!
Overall I enjoyed my meal and will continue to dine here!
Pro tip: Ask if there are any off menu options for endless shrimp. Yesterday was coconut shrimp, a different type of fried shrimp, and regular grilled skewers!
No, Red Lobster is not an upscale seafood place, but for the price the food is quite good. Gotta love the cheddar biscuits, salads are good, not always great, and the desserts are decent. My favorite is the coconut shrimp - I've tried coconut shrimp in many different places, including fancier restaurants, and while they're all somewhat greasy, Red Lobster seems the best. The fried shrimp is also a good bargain - they don't overdo the breading like so many places.

My friend really wanted to try Red Lobster even though I had heard the food isn't good or fresh. It took too long to be seated, the place was noisy, full of kids running around. I was ready to walk out but stayed for my friend. The food tasted like a frozen dinner that was cooked. I would NEVER go back again. I guess this place is good for families that don't have a lot of money.
