Had our driveway (~500 feet long) resurfaced by A-1 a couple months ago. They did a fantastic job. The crew who did the work were highly professional .. and definitely did quality work. Drainage in several areas of the driveway went from good to great as a result of the work that was done. Initially discussed and arranged the driveway job with Bud (sales) who I found to be honest and upright. Would strongly recommend A-1 Asphalt to others.

A-1 Asphalt stands behind its work. Early in June 2011 A-1 sealed our driveway. The following day we noticed that some foreign agent came up through the asphalt seal and left a brownish stain in several places. My wife called our salesman Gary and he returned to examine the stains. Neither of us could guess what made the stains. I asked if A-1 would reseal over the stains, to which he responded that A-1 would redo the entire driveway.

The day A-1 returned to redo the driveway was overcast and as luck would have it, an hour after completing the work, a heavy rain and thunder storm hit. Because the sealant is water based, the rain washed large areas away.

So we made another call to A-1 to tell them about the problem. Within the week the crew was back to redo the drive. They just didn’t seal the areas damaged by the rain. Again, they resealed the entire driveway.

When I met with Gary to look at the mysterious stains, he said that A-1 would do whatever was necessary to make us happy. They demonstrated that commitment not once, but twice. I recommend A-1 and in the future will call them for driveway sealing.
