Fiesta Mexicana

Fiesta Mexicana is my favorite restaurant in the area. My husband and I have eaten there many times since we discovered it and everything we have tried has been excellent. I especially recomend anything with steak. The ingredients are fresh and everything is made in house. The meats are all seasoned and marinated perfectly (I have tried them all). The food truly is authentic and the service is outstanding. This is the first restaurant in the area that I can honestly say has good service and I have never had to wait for seating. The only thing that could be improved at this place is the parking (it's a very small lot behind the restaurant) and the interior. The restaurant is clean and has nice booths and tables, but like every good, authentic mexican restaurant I have eaten at it isn't high end inside. As long as that doesn't bother you, you are in for an amazing eating experience with excellent service.

WOW ..... what a GREAT place to eat real mexican food in Watertown (Northern New York). I ate in thier large dining room what a warm attractive traditional decor dining room. It made me feel like I was in warm place south of the border.



The service, food and prices were OUTSTANDING. I was talking to Elizabeth the owner, she was telling me that they also take orders over the phone for pick up. She was very friendly, you can tell this was family owned by a native Mexican born family. As you go in you can peek into the kitchen, the cooks were all latino ... now that REAL Mexican food. I believe to know the taste of mexican food you have to mexican/latino. One of the best IF NOT THE BEST mexican places I have ever ate.



I tried Ticos down the street. I would NOT go back, they are NOT the real thing and they have very poor service and very pricey. The food also was cold when I got it and had no flavor.

Now this is [REAL AUTHENTIC] Mexican Food at a reasonable price. I lived in Southern Calif and Mex for most of my life and the food here exceeds places out there.

I had the Carne Asada (Steak) plate combo. Everything tasted GREAT and the service and large formal dining room with it music was great. You can tell the chips and salsa were MADE ON-SITE and did not come out of a can or glass like other SUPPOSELDLY authentic Mexican restaurants in the area. I happened to talked to the owner Elizabeth and found out that she was born and raised in central Mexico - Gomez Palacio Durango Mx, that explains why they had a LARGE variety of Authentic Mexican dishes to include traditional Mexican drinks like horchata and Jamaica natural drinks. Elizabeth was very helpful and pleasant. When I asked why they didn’t serve beer she indicated that they plan on serving them in the very near future. I noticed a lot of Canadians there; they must know what a REAL Mexican Restaurant should be.



The BEST value for you money for AUTHENTIC Mexican food in the Northern and Central New York with EXCELLENT service and great festival atmosphere.



Ticos Tex Mex down the street SUCKS … that place is extremely expensive, food taste like it comes out of a can and service is also very slow …. Only thing they have going for them is there booze, if want real food GO TO Fiesta Mexican, if you want to get drunk and go to a bar go to Ticos. Ticos should be renamed Ticos Cantana, if it wasn’t for their booze license they would most likely be out of business.
