First of all, was completely lied to about the owner "Mike". Come to find out... The owners name is Mike, but that's not who sold me my vehicle like I was told. He talked a very well game though. Within a month of buying my vehicle (literally just made my first payment) my coolant resivor froze and broke. When we went to the shop to discuss this with "Mike" and remind him of the funny noise in the steering that I told him about since day one... We were told "Mike" wasn't the owner and was fired for being shady. Him and his mechanic. Probably explains why he put water into my coolant. Needless to say, they purchased the resivor but we had to replace the thermostat and my boyfriend did all the work. Well as they still haven't said anything about the noise I kept telling them about, I took my car to a local shop and they informed me that my vehicle needed a lower ball joint, inner tie rod, and a wheelbearing. Back to this place to tell them.... I bought my vehicle on Jan 25th but it wasn't mine until January 30th. They said my warranty wasn't good because I purchased my vehicle back in November. Needless to say... First payment in... I've had to put $1000 into a $10,000 vehicle. The owner doesn't stand by his word or his cars. I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy.
Only received 1 key, car smells like a cigarette factory and get only excuses to get it cleaned , had to buy front license plate holder
I was trying to get my hands on an Integra from the late-nineties and Al and Tracy actually went to the auction and found this for me. I couldn't believe it Thanks again guys!
Steve, the elderly man, was really nice and professional. Seemed willing to work with a young college student and work out a nice deal. Was quoted a price by him, then asked again when work needed to be done on the vehicle before it was ready and was told the price would be the same that I was quoted. HOWEVER when I returned after the vehicle was ready to test drive it, his wife was in charge. She insisted on accompanying me on the test drive, and I did not get a decent chance to see how the car would behave when up to speed. Then when I mentioned the quoted price she immediately became rude and said "My husband should never of told you that price, I put money into this in repairs and probably won't be able to keep that price". Was told she would call me back the next day to "See whether she could keep the price I was TOLD by her husband" and never received a call. Tried calling their shop and every call was ignored. If you can, deal purely with Steve. But avoid his wife.
It sucks!! Bought a 2005 sante Fe,, had light on from get go but promised it would be permanently off,, 30 days back and forth to their shop with light still on to be told... Warranty run out,, deal with it yourself... To save my credit went to the bank got a 2000 dollar loan to have a new engine put in my vehicle with other work... They are con artists, rip offs,, and will never recommend anyone to these ppl!!!! Very Untrustworthy and a lesson learned for me!!!! I know of 15 more ppl that have got screwed as well... I
I had purchases a 2003 Saturn Vue from them for almost 10,000 within a month the transmission started acting funny i took it back to them and they jerked me around for a month after my month warranty was up they said they could fixed the transmission but i would have to pick up the tab so i ended up fixing it myself by my own mechanic i brought another transmission for (2,500)+ the cost for my mechanic to put it in well within a mth that one went up i had that one under warranty i had it replaced and now this one is not working to well needless to say 3 transmission later and a lot more new parts in my car (within 4 years) i am going to trade it in or sell it privately because i will not put another dime into it as far as fixing it .....and this all could of been avoided if they would of fix the transmission in the 1st place when i asked them to ..so moral of the story DO NOT !!!!!!!! go to them because you will be rip off
Bought a brand new 2013 jetta tdi.. Love the car but the only problem is the service department(brian tarwater) will not honor my warranty and attempted to jerry rig a part covered under warranty instead of replacing it thinking i wouldnt notice. If you are not a watertown local buyer beware... You will get treated like an out of towner!
Staff (especially Cliff) are extremely professional and patient when buying a vehicle. I didn't know what I wanted, but Widricks was able to find the best vehicle that I could afford and at an interest rate that was fair. I will always go back and refer my friends and family.
I moved here due to military and took my car to F X Caprara VW for service. My car was in good condition so good that the dearler in GA offered to buy the vehicle back if i wanted to upgrade. I took the car in for the 80'000 mile check up and two days later i returned because i noticed the vehicle was driving very rough. I asked if they had used synthetic oil because not being a mechanic i had no idea what the problem could've been, my car has never driven that rough. He advised they only used synthetic oil. Well two weeks later i'm enroute to work and my car started making a loud noise and more so when i accelelerate. The engine light or nothing came on. Immediate i called my husband to advise i believe they did something to my car. When i called Caprara they told me they had no idea what it could be since there is no engine light so I would need to bring the vehicle in. Brought the car in and i was advised the exhaust pipe had broken off my 2006 passat. I asked the manager how could that be? He shrugged his shoulders and stated its a old car so over time the pipes break and it will cost $941 to replace. I am so upset about this because i truly believe the dealer has done something to my car to make us return and it's very sad. My car is now sitting out at a firestone to get a second opinion because it cannot be driven. Let me also add i had an emission test done and at no point did the dealer tell me my pipe was bad or my gasket was broken it's a total rip off and i will never go back.
Don't go here to buy a car or fix it. When I bought my car here a year ago, they didn't do an oil change and I needed brand new break pads after only 3 weeks. They do not check their cars and they jack up the price of a car. Bought an 07 vw and after interest am paying over 26,000$. My sugestion is go elsewhere.
