Benny's Storage and Moving Company was a great experience! They were so professional and very courteous. From the time they arrived to my home in Boston they carefully packed all my belonging in a careful and safe manner. They packed every piece of furniture and painting properly. I was so pleased with the quality of work and time it took them to finish. When I arrived in Georgia they were there with my furniture before the commitment date which was wonderful! I received a courteous call one hour before time. The gentlemen that showed up they were very nice and quick. They set up my whole house and put together my table and other items. I would recommend them to all of my family and friends. It was a stress free experience. Thank you once again Benny's Storage and Moving Co.
I talked to the Watertown, MA Service Center today about a package that I am waiting for under some pressure . I did not have a tracking number. However, the customer service representative I talked to was very helpful and tried to locate the package by name, address etc., looking in various logs and truck lists. She did not find the package but she was very very polite, patient and helpful. Not finding my package is not UPS's fault.....I did not have tracking number and they handle millions of packages. But the customer service effort was excellent and pleasant. There are still sometimes human beings on the other end of the line and those are often very good folks.
TERRIBLE EXPERIECE EVER !!!!! THE MOST IRRESPONSIBLE COMPANY OF THE YEAR !!!!!!I HAVE TO BUY NEW FURNITURES AND CANCEL MY FLIGHT BECAUSE OF THE DELAY OF THE SERVICE. I have never moved before and never use moving service before and I heard that there will be some delay and breaking stuff, so I kind of have that in mind and BENNY’S JUST SHOWED ME HOW MOVING COMPANY WORKS: DELAY, NO SERVICE, AND IRRESPONSIBLE EVERRR !!!!!!I hired Benny’s Moving and Storage to move all of my properties from Watertown MA to Los Angeles CA. Before I hired them, Mike, sale representative told me that I should expect 7-10 days from the pick up date to get all of my properties in LA. With many good reviews on yelp, very good rating in BBB and other sites, I ended up using Benny’s Moving and Storage.They came to pick up my properties on August 25, 2013 in the morning. I made a call to Mike and he said I should expect no more than 7-15 business days as state in the contract and he assured me that he will call me as a second that my properties get load to the truck and ready to go out from MA to CA (which never happened.) I flew to LA and have been waiting for 13 days after the picked up and my properties were still sitting in the warehouse in MA. Mike told me that usually he had a truck running to CA every week but due to very busy week in the last week of August so Benny decided to stop long route service for a week. I was skeptical of the good business practice of this company as I’m one of their customers too and my business should be as important as others and the company just kept me waiting and waiting….OK !!!! I tried to understand that the company tries to make as much profit as possible even some time forgot what customers’ responsibilities is and I understand since it's still in the contract of 7-15 business day delivery. I kept calling Mike almost everyday. One day he said my stuffs were loaded and will leave the next day. The next day I called to ask for truck driver’s phone number, Mike told me that my stuff will be out in couple of days. After a few days, I called again and he told me that he has a problem with driver’s driving license which is a very rare case and cannot send out my stuff. I guess Benny’s has only one driver and couldn’t solve the problem and deliver what they promise. Mike kept promising me that my properties were loaded in the truck and ready to go out from MA (he kept saying this 4 days in a row and now it's still in MA.)However, today is Thursday, September 12 and my properties are still in MA (today is actually 14 business day after they picked up my properties.) I called and they still have no idea when they will get their truck out of MA. They kept telling me that they will send the truck out in couple of days. So I called them and told them that I couldn’t wait any longer than the contract stated (15 business day after picked up, Sep 13th.) Since I have a business trip coming on Sep 17th and I won’t be home to pick up my stuffs for a month. Then he said... WHY DIDN’T I TELL HIM BEFORE that I wouldn’t be able to get all the stuffs after Sep17th???? Well, why do I have to tell you since the latest date in the contract is Sep13th, so I have no point telling you that I'll be gone on Sep 17, right?????Right now, I'm still sitting and waiting my furniture in the empty room (which I have been waiting almost half month) and have no idea how long should I expect to wait. What if I have to postpone my business trip, who will responsible for this???? who will pay me for my time and my career???IF I CAN GIVE NEGATIVE STAR TO THIS COMPANY I WOULD. I ALREADY CLAIM IN BBB AND HOPE THAT BENNY’S WILL DELIVER MY STUFF ASAP AND TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR MY LOSSES.
Poor. Very poor. Employyes don't seem to know email addresses of their colleagues, their phone system drops you when put on hold.They don't seem to care.
