Hi my name is Craig Gates and my experience with magic Motorsports was very poor I ride a 2014 Harley Davidson Street Glide. It has over 17,000 miles on it so it was time to replace the rear tire. I took my Tire & Wheel - to magic to be mounted and balanced. Tyler the mechanic who was mounting my tire tells me to go pay for it and he would mount my tire. When I came back I noticed that he was fighting with my tire a little bit and i did not think nothing much of it. He was also replacing the valve stem. After he's was done I put the tire in the back of my car and drove home. When I got home I took the tire out of the back of my car and bounced it on the floor. I heard something rattling around inside the tire. Being a mechanic also I had to see what was inside the tire. So I let the air out of the tire and broke one side down. What I found you would not believe a whole valve stem!!! After I fished it out of the tire I called Tyler at Magic. Tyler said he did not know how that got in there. Imagine that he would not even own up to it!! He told me to bring it back the next day they open at 10 in the morning. Well when I got there at 10 o'clock Tyler was nowhere to be found. So Mike the owner took care of me they had to rebalance the tire because I had broken it down and taking the weights off. When he was done balancing the tire I told him what I had found in it. He looked at me with a dumb look on his face and said how that get in there. He then told me that it was no big deal it probably won't matter that it was in there. I said to him would you want that piece of metal inside your tire when you're doing a hundred miles an hour?? Ask yourself would it made a difference would you want that in your tire I paid $40 to have the tire mounted and balanced. That is good money 4 shoddy work I would never take anything there to have service on!!!
Very helpful staff. We take our bikes there every spring for maintenance.
My family and my husbands family have gone here for at least 10 years. We recently took our two quads to get a tune up and were told the max price it would cost is 450 per quad. Cool. Until we went to pick it up and they charged us 600. We brought it home and rode them(they're racing quads) and it sputters. We took it to get a tune up and paid 600 for them to make it in tip top shape. When we called them and told them it didn't sound right they told us to check some valves. And then told us if we brought it in they'd charge us another 100 to re check it. Worst service ever!!!
I had them rebuild my snowmobile at a cost of $1400 it lasted 70 miles brought it back for warranty they fixed it, it lasted 50 miles
i was a long time customer until yesterday. I ordered filters for my BS38 carbs. I told them I heard it COULD be 32 or 34mm. I don't work at a motorcycle store, so I couldnt be sure. I gave them the year, make, and model of the bike and the carbs (even though theyre factory). After driving all the way out there, i found they ordered the wrong stuff. no big deal. it was around 45 min drive, but whatever. when i asked them to order the right part they insisted they have NO way of knowing, and wouldnt look into it any further. They recommended i go home, measure the carb and call them. Since it's their job, as a motorcycle store parts attendant, I decided to take my money back, and go to a store that doesnt employ lazy and uneducated staff. Last time i will go in there.
I've been going to Magic for years. I always get the right parts. I've even had guys from the service area come up front and help me by explaining the details of a carb kit installation. They certainly didn't have to do that but it was nice to have the tips in mind as I did the mods myself. They've got great sale prices too. I told a friend of mine about some apparel they had on sale and he drove from Livonia to get the deals they had.
