I went there today, OMG this place is in desperate need of a good clean, Now I understand that the students are in training, but you would think a supervisor would come and check the work that was done, I had to have a couple of nail re done as the polish (which was tacky came off, I also had a wax job which I had to ask for the tweezers as a lot of hair was still on my lip,,the girl doing this was very nice but needs more practice ..NOT going back.)

customer service

This is the worse place..... no place like it. I have NEVER BEEN TREATED SO RUDE. I purchased gift cert. For my grandchildren for Christmas. ( I have 13 grandchildren) the first time it was ok. However the special polish lasted two days.

Than I took a few more and was told by the owner.....they were to busy!!!!!!! Lots of emoliyees just standing around?????? Than was told to leave after I questioned why we could not be waited on at that time. I asked what about the gift cert.....was told to bad...no refunds

Just a very rude place and not CUSTOMER FRIENDLY!!!!!!!!

I was in need of a color service, and I have several friends who have gone to other beauty schools (not this particular school) and have had great results. I figured I should try it, and that the service I was requesting was simple enough and almost impossible to screw up. I thought wrong. First I walked in and noticed it is pretty dirty around here. There was dust built up in the corners of the floor, the sinks were disgusting, the area around the shampoo bowls were a mess, the chairs didnt work properly (which resulted in me literally getting walked on by the instructor). I had requested my hair to be a light, pale, almost platinum blonde. We came to a mutual understanding. There was even a visual to use of the exact color that I wanted, and she confirmed with me (is this the shade you want?). So I sat there and allowed her to do her thing. When it was time to rinse, I looked in the mirror and my hair was at a very pale blonde. I thought "perfect! She didn't screw it up!". Well..... she took me to the rinsing sink and kept talking about "toning my hair"... Now, I know enough about hair to know that unless my hair was pure white, which it wasn't, there really was no need for a toner, and if there was, not a dark one, and not on super long. The student did THREE toners on my hair and left each one on for at least a minute! When she took me to dry my hair she turned my chair from the mirror, when I looked in the mirror at the end it was a dirty ash blonde, not at ALL what we came to an agreement on. The instructor even knew that I requested light, pale blonde and she was too busy trying to cover her students mistake and saying "oh thats way more natural". I didn't ask for natural... I asked for light blonde! I felt quickly rushed out the door, and wasn't even about to ask her to fix it, since I had been there for almost three hours. Besides, I didn't want to risk it turning out even worse than it was. I have an appointment tomorrow to get it fixed by a licensed cosmetologist. Funny thing is, the girl I had was one of the best ones around me. It seemed like everywhere I looked there was some sort of disaster going on. I'm all for students learning and having human canvases to work on, but how can you properly train your students for a bright career when you're just covering their mistakes and not fixing it?!? It was SUCH a waste of money and a nightmare. My advice is, if you're going to a beauty school student to get your hair done, do your research on the school first. I had done research on this school before, and against my better judgement after reading the reviews, I went anyways. I honestly would've been better off using a box color at home.

I went in as a walk-in to just get a trim and try out the shallac manicure (since I had a coupon). I had to wait about 15-20 minutes, which was totally understandable since they were busy. I was in no rush and expected the wait.

I was helped by Nicole. She did a great job with the wash and cut- checking the cut 3+ times to make sure it was even. She also did my shallac. This is the best shallac I've ever had! I've gone to professionals and they spend so much time cutting corners and not really paying attention to me that I was just sick of wasting the $25. I had a coupon to get the shallac done for $12- which was a steal in my opinion.

I highly recommend this place for the treatments I had. My advice- call ahead and make an appointment with Nicole!

I had highlights done here, and they are too bright, too thick, and not well-placed. My haircut is also lop-sided. I feel that the student stylist didn't know enough even though she said she was close to graduation. The biggest problem was that she spent hardly any time talking with me or listening about what I wanted. There was another stylist nearby doing a perm, and I never heard her talk to her client about what she wanted either. I can say that they were friendly and tried to help when I went back to try to get my highlights fixed/improved, but there was only so much they could do at that point. She did get the supervisor's help, but only after making mistakes that couldn't be fixed. I feel the students deserve to have more expertise than this by the time they are ready to graduate, and they need to be taught how to communicate with their customers. I would not recommend getting any long-lasting services such as color done here.
