Meijer

This store is a joke. Shelves aren't stocked, never enough cash registers open and the employees are just completely rude. Not worth the bullcrap. Kroger for the win !!

I feel that this Waterford Meijers is a great store. Now I'm not saying that all the others are bad, because they're not, it's just that Waterford Meijers has been there for me. When I was in Highschool back in 1996, and I needed a job, I applied for this Meijers and they hired me. Back then I wanted to be a cashier, but they had me as a bagger. In 1999 I joined a Co-op class at my school that helped me find a new job. Well I only kept that job for four years, but I became a cashier there. After that job I went to another store as a cashier, but only for a few years, then to another store as a bagger, then while I was in college, I started working as a workstudy student at my college (Baker College of Auburn Hills). Now that I'm done with college, I've been looking for jobs, and reapplied for Meijers as a cashier and they interviewed me three times. All I have to do is wait for my background check to go through until I can start working there. The managers that interviewed me were very nice to me. I can't wait until I get to work with them.

This store has really gone down Hill in the last few years. Never enough cash registers open. No employees on the sales floor and the pharmacy is a joke. It is a shame to see this place so poorly run especially after all this time when it was the place to shop when it first opened back in 1988.

Not only do they usually have the cheapest gas, but the employees (especially in the morning) are always extremely helpful and friendly. They also will pump gas for those who are unable to, making it a great place for my mother to go to, she doesn't even have to leave the car! I'm there often, I love that the staff recognizes me and will have my cigarettes ready when I come up to the counter, I don't even have to ask!

They usually have the cheapest gas here!

This is not my favorite Meijer store. It is often messy and the staff can be surly at times.
