Leo’s Coney Island

Leo's Coney Island on m-59 in Waterford was a great experience. They take orders using an electronic tablet, bathrooms clean, service fast and friendly. Overall nice experience.

I went there today and the food is good but we had one big problem my sister has a gluten allergy which is one reason we came there they advertise they are gluten free but hen my sister asked them if they could fry her fries in the same grease as her (gluten free) chicken fingers we were Then told that they fry everything in the same fryer even the chicken fingers which is cross contamination

So the gluten free chicken fingers are not really gluten free at all that can be a big problem for people with a severe allergy now i don't know if the restaurant cooks knew that or if they just didn't know we were not mad and the rest of the food was good the gluten free buns are still gluten free and our food was good i just thought people should know about it
