I went in as a walk-in to just get a trim and try out the shallac manicure (since I had a coupon). I had to wait about 15-20 minutes, which was totally understandable since they were busy. I was in no rush and expected the wait. I was helped by Nicole. She did a great job with the wash and cut- checking the cut 3+ times to make sure it was even. She also did my shallac. This is the best shallac I've ever had! I've gone to professionals and they spend so much time cutting corners and not really paying attention to me that I was just sick of wasting the $25. I had a coupon to get the shallac done for $12- which was a steal in my opinion. I highly recommend this place for the treatments I had. My advice- call ahead and make an appointment with Nicole!

I am learning so much. Where I came from the school only taught what the major population was. At D and S I am not only learning Caucasian hair but ethnic hair as well. I have learned how to blow dry ethnic hair straight, cornrows, all types of braids, pressing comb, curling with a stove and electric curler, and perfecting my clipper skills. I also am learning state board in systematic repetition.
This school has taught me so much, from learning basic styles to technical names of services and ingredients within them. I can't wait to graduate but I don't even want to leave with all the welcoming students and instructors. I'm very happy to be here.
Had the most amazing Pedicure today at Michigan College of Beauty in Waterford. Very professional, clean and pleasant experience. Would definately recommend there services.
