O'Reilly Auto Parts

This is a decent store. Folks behind the counter seem fairly knowledgeable. It crowded like everyplace in Wasilla on the main drag. Good as any place for autoparts.

I've been to the Wasilla O'Reillys twice now, and the only thing I can say about them is that they should hire more courteous people. The first time there was a counter person there espousing his personal views on guns, and talking about how O'reillys should sell them too. Just came off like a tea party nut case. The second time I asked a simple question, and the clerk answered in a very defensive sarcastic tone with "I've been doing this 16 years, I think I'd know that". Completely defensive sarcastic remark that had no place. People who visit the store come from all backgrounds, experience, etc, and do not know what each individual clerk knows or does not know. They deserve to be treated better. A simple polite, Yes, I'm aware of it would have been more appropriate. Tone? completely uncalled for. I've never seen such behavior at other auto parts stores. I'm not saying Oreilly doesn't try hard to be a great store. I'm saying they should montior employee behavior a bit better.
