Very helpful sales staff and technicians that answered all the questions that I had regarding the vehicle I was attempting to purchase
I only have had my vehicle 2014 chevrolet Tahoe LTZ since August 2013, but my experience with the service department and our service manager has been the most horrific experience I have ever had. First they got a pen stain on the back seat when they were getting ready to sell it to us. So they cleaned it and the cleaner they used ate the leather. So they replaced the leather and did a terrible job. I had to finish it myself. Second they had to install a middle console, because for some reason it didn't come with it, but it was on the paperwork. So, the service department cut the carpet out wrong admittedly, but thought it was good enough for our vehicle. So they had to order new carpet after I told them that it was not acceptable. And the service appointments, it may be a day or longer to do a simple task. My wife took the vehicle in yesterday to get the tires rotated, it took them 3 hours to do that after they told her that it would just be a minute. So, I regret buying a vehicle from chevrolet of Wasilla, not because of the vehicle, but because I have to deal with their service department for the next 7 years. Even the kids asked if we could take it to the old (ford) place, because this place takes too long. I agree with my kids, wish I could go to Ford,
4/30/13After my transmission gave out late last winter in February, I am finally receiving my vehicle tomorrow after over 2 months of waiting! Tomorrow is the 1st of May! Thankfully, I had a beater vehicle as a plan B to get to work and school, but what if I didn't? Oh yeah! I can get a rental car in the mean time, right? WRONG. Rentals are limited to only 5 DAYS! And that was only after they first tear out the old transmission which took a month anyway! 1 1/2 months went by and they put in a brand new transmission that only went into first gear! It had to be taken out and given another new one! Good grief! Thanks for the terrible service. Thankfully, I had the warranty to make this less of a hassle. Edited 5/2/2013I got my vehicle yesterday finally, and they ended up giving me just a key without my autostarter. Turns out they ended up losing my key with the autostarter and got the old key replaced but 'forgot' that there was an autostarter with it. Now I have to waste more time having them replace it, thank you Chevrolet of Wasilla.
I took my 1998 Silverado for a known fuel pump intermittant problem, (had to bang on tank to get pump to start ) wow high tech trouble shooting. Known problem with GM bad pumps, good for about 100,000 miles. Told service managers Dean and Anthony. ASE Mechanic can not duplicate fuel problem, so he does complete $1000 Tune-Up (Not Authorized) goes to start vehicle will not start, all be, fuel pump only putting out 22PSI (50PSI required to start vehicle. $1575.00 for Not required Tune-Up and fuel pump replacement. Beware of these incompetant trouble-shooting shisters.
