Highland Ink

That crappy review above is obviously given by a crazy person. Susie is the best! She has never been anything other than kind and very reasonably priced. Not to mention she has a style that sets her above and beyond any other. I have several tattoos from her personally and she has given life to dreams and ideas that I have had for a sleeve. The shop is small but better for one on one care. The music and atmosphere is unbeatable! I feel at home every time I walk in. For those first timers out there who are afraid of the typical "dark grungy and loud" shop you will be pleased to find that Highland ink is nothing like that. I must say that the photos above do her no justice they are old and the important thing to remember is that it is a tattoo artists job to make your ideas look as best as possible. So if it's a ugly tattoo your asking for dont blame the artist they are just doing what you ask. I love the art that I have got from Susie and am proud to wear it for the rest of my life

If I told my best friend about this place, I would tell her that THIS place can actually cover up that terrible fairy tattoo she got in high school and figure out a classy cover up that will be inspirational.



You cannot find a more friendly and inviting place to get a tattoo in San Clemente. Minutes from the beach and a football field from the freeway, this is a convient place with some of the friendliest/most talented artists in the area.



"Susie" the owner is a doll, who bought us a milkshake during a session and cracked jokes left and right. I had a blast and the artwork, is bar-none; some of the best I've seen in all of Southern California.
