About Search Results

YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

The hotel is the oldest in DC. The timeline is on the lobby hallway wall. The staff is very accommodating and the hotel is still owned by the original family. The room we stayed in had two full baths. The tile and grout were very clean and looked new. Clearly the hotel renovates. Two restaurants ae on premises. We were in town for a Congressional Award ceremony and checkout was inconvenient all our bags were stored for us until late in the day. There was no charge and the attitudes were kind. The cord on the room hot water pot was very short and wouldn't reach the wall plug until over to a more inconvenient location. The room for two was two rooms with an archway between bed and sitting area. There was a refrigerator and microwave.

My wife, daughter and her friend stayed 2 nights in the family suite, was very pleased and happy we chose the Harrington. The whole staff and staff of the adjoining cafe and bar were outstanding, and helpful in all our needs. The location was wonderful, within walking distance to every museum and other sightseeing area, would definitely pick there to stay in future.

I absolutely love this hotel. It's historical, affordable and you can't find a better location for seeing all the sights. We first found this gem about 20 years ago. We loved the history of it and also the proximity to the Smithsonian. On our last visit a few months ago, we realized it's gotten even better. The surrounding neighborhood used to be mostly office buildings, but now it's more residential and there's an added benefit of a ton of nearby restaurants and coffee shops to choose from. If you have a large family, there is a great option - the double-sized room. It's two regular rooms made into one, so you have four beds and two bathrooms. There's a large opening between the rooms. If you're a history buff, be sure to check out the hotel's historical photos and items displayed in the hall on the ground floor. I look forward to returning again and again.

The hotel staff provided great service by holding my bag prior to the 4pm check in time. The Harrington is a great spot for a weekend trip when visiting and the goal is to utilize the Metro to get to sports around the city. No frills place to lay your head and rest up for the next day's activities. There are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby if searching for something beyond the places affiliated with the hotel. Parking is reasonable compared against parking garage fees in the vicinity. I will definitely book at Hotel Harrington on future trips.

On a budget?, business trip, need quick access to all your events and destinations in Washington D.C. then the Harrington offers everything you need. As a travel photographer I need to get in and out to my assignments with no hassles and wasted time. Staff is very helpful and know how to get me where I need to be. Basic ,clean rooms at reasonable rates .This last stay at the Harrington was my fourth and will stay again. Nothing fancy, leave the sterile cookie-cutter hotels to the international chain hotels. The Harrington is real and ready to serve your needs while in D.C. Convenient parking close by.Harrington is located in the heart of Washington, D.C.'s world famous tourist district. Guests can easily walk to all the sights and museums making Hotel Harrington the perfect home base for exploring everything D.C. has to offer. To expand your range, the Metro, is located just two blocks away.

Hotel Harrington is one of the few places where a family can get multiple beds in the same room, which, traveling with children and grandchildren, was the most important thing we were searching for.. While a little outdated, it is 100 years old, it is clean and comfortable, offers free WIFI, and has competent and courteous staff. The Harrington is withoin walking distance to the Whitehouse, Smithsonian, etc. They also have the least expensive in-and-out parking of any hotel we considered in the vicinity.. There are plenty of restaurants, drugstores, etc. within a block or so, so it is super convenient to anything you might need.

If you are looking for luxury, this is not the hotel for you. If you are looking for a hotel that is affordable, clean, and located within walking distance of the tourist sites the Hotel Harrington is the place to be. The rooms are small but very clean. My room had two double beds, a fridge, and a flat screen TV. There is Wi-Fi in the hotel and a computer to use in the lobby. There is a restaurant on property and Harry's is right next door that seemed to be bustling with people. Vending and Ice machines are available on designated floors. My room was quite hot but opening the window helped. I was not bothered by the street noise. Would I stay there again? You bet! Kudos to Roxanna with the House Keeping staff. She was so sweet!

The hotel is in the older building that shows in narrow hallways and small elevator. But if you can bypass the old building feel the hotel is clean and located in the heart of DC. Walking distance to most attractions. 24-hr full-access parking in nearby parking garage for unbeatable price. The room was a little small but that's the old building charm. Clean with all basics needed. No breakfast but there are many places nearby to grab a bite, including adjacent restaurant. Best value in the area for this great location. No business center but they have a computer and a printer in the lobby; busy so allow amole time if needed. Late checkout at 1pm (?!)- very busy hotel. I would recommend for people on the budget that want to stay in central DC.

If my daughter hadn't already been here on a school trip I wouldn't have booked it, but she said it was comfortable. The service was great, and value for money re location was fantastic. The rooms are very old, but the beds very comfortable. We had all we needed, and slept well. Couldn't really ask for more, from such an old hotel.

We stayed at The Hotel Harrington June 28 - July 5th. The Hotel is located between the White House and The Ford Theater and 2 blocks from the Mall. Within walking distance of several METRO stations. Three restaurants in the hotel. We had 4 people in our group and reserved a two bedroom suite, which allow each kid (16 and 13 years old) to have their own bed and we had two bathrooms for approximately $20.00 more than a 2 Queen bed room. The rooms had an accordion door between them which was nice at the end of the night. We requested a quiet room, and ended up on the 11th floor and it was quiet. We did bring an outlet strip with us to plug in our multiple electronic devices since this historic hotel has limited outlets. Bathrooms were very clean. Rooms were clean as well. No continental breakfast but we had a coffee maker, fridge and microwave in our room. Were able to park our car a block away for 17.00 per day. We never used our car since we close to everything. If you are looking for simple clean rooms, this place is great. Lots of choices of restaurants, some shopping and Walgreens/CVS pharmacy in the next block. Employees were very friendly and helpful. Free WiFi
