Bad and the worst salon experience I ever had Just a waste of money Sometimes the reviews deceive people, after I viewed a good ratings, I decided to call and take appointment, during the conversation on the phone with a man I think is the owner, I felt something going wrong with this salon, he did virtuel consultation and suggested to do Botox treatment because i think is the more expensive $300, he didn't see you hair and give diagnose and I don't know why the charge you the full price before doing anything, they used a product we do know is Botox or something else, after I washed my hair at home I didn't see any difference, really bad experience and I know what it is Botox treatment. I saw a lot of salon in Paris and i did some treatments there and there is a huge difference. Bad and worst experience

I had a horrible experience at Miss Hair Braiding Gallery and will not be returning. I made an appointment for 4:30 and arrived early but my hair was not started on until after 5:00pm. I have very thick hair and was trying to explain to Miss my hair texture and type but she wasn’t listening and acting like I didn’t know what I was talking about and she knew my hair better than I.As she started working on my hair she said she had a migraine and stopped doing my hair and took a nap on the sofa. A NAP! She then had her 9th grade daughter continue working on my hair. After her nap, she continued working on my hair but then her stomach began to bother her, she rushed to the bathroom and apparently vomited. She came back 10 minutes later but then needed another 10 minutes to gather herself. She finally finished my hair but I did not leave the salon until midnight. I was in the salon from 4:15pm-12:00am! A woman who came in for box braids after me left before me, it was insane. The next day I noticed that my hair was not done correctly so I asked if I could come back in to get my hair fixed. She ignored my texts and calls all day but then finally replied and said she was in the emergency room. I sensed that she was lying so I had a friend call to schedule an appointment from a different number. She promptly answered and said that she was available that day and the next day! She called me the next day so I was thinking she was calling to apologize and reschedule for me to come in so I could get my hair fixed. Instead, she called and ask that I send her an uber to the hospital.Honestly, I could not make this up if I tried. I was never able to get my hair fixed and it was the worst hair experience that I have ever encountered. Do Not get your hair done there!WORST EXPERIENCE EVER WILL NEVER RETURN! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL!
i love this salon! they have all the news products out! there very friendly i will say go every month just to get a blow out to treat myself! but over all love this place the salon is very clean. the kartease are my fav.
I've been a few places on my hair journey & Loc Lov is the ONLY place I fully trust. Their knowledge of both hair & scalp are top notch. & what they don't know, they are humble enough to refer you to the experts who do. I've had family members from out of state come to obtain the knowledge they possess & even they have fallen as deeply in love with the staff as I have. From the owner, Salih, on down the entire atmosphere is set with love. Love for you as a person, for your hair & the journey you will make together. As with many hair salons not everything is for everyone. However, I've been a customer of Loc Lov long enough to know that as with most things in life, what you the come in with is what you will receive. So I've watched the staff over the years working hard to establish a positive rapport between you the client and your hair from the initial appointment on. Their desire is to not only provide a service, but build relationships between clients & our community! I just can't say enough about this salon, it's always improving service & continued striving for excellence amidst life's many ups & down! Here's to many more years of continuous years of success!
Oriental Oasis Nails and Spa has lost my business. As a long-time client, I have noticed that the co-owners, Nancy and Juan, have overcharged me for services that are actually $15 - $30 less. When I have inquired about service prices increasing, Juan said, "Not that I know of." As the co-owner, how could you not know whether or not your business has increased prices for various services offered? I also observed that Juan looked away during my inquiry and avoided direct facial-eye contact with me. As a licensed psychologist, that is a clear sign of someone who is being dishonest. Furthermore, Nancy complained to me about not receiving a tip after my last appointment in December, which was very inappropriate. Not only was that unprofessional, but, I would not provide a tip when overcharged $30! I am VERY disappointed with the aforementioned behavior and unethical practice of Nancy and Juan. I wonder if they overcharge all clients, or only certain clients? Oriental Oasis Nails and Spa already lost most of my business, as a result of being overcharged repeatedly in the past. After my recent appointment there and STILL being deliberately overcharged by the co-owners, I will patronize another nails and spa business, per the recommendation of other former clients.
My experience at Patou's was AMAZING! Patou diagnosed my hair concerns and provided me with an organic hair color...chemical free! I brought my empty shampoo bottles, samples of hair I shed and any relevant health concerns that could potentially be the cause for my thinning hair. Patou's deep organic conditioners that followed the organic color she matched and mixed left my hair silky and smooth... BEAUTIFUL soft jet black natural curls. I haven't felt this beautiful in a very long time. The thinning hair experience was not one I was use to because my hair was always long, thick and healthy. Patou even got to consult with my daughter who was waiting and then serviced my daughter too! Patou is so knowledgeable and passionate about hair. She educated my daughter and I on how to manage our hair to improve both of our conditions. Her staff of beauticians were FANTASTIC! The stylist who washed my hair was careful to comb and handle my hair gently. The application of color was superb...I did not have the awful ring of dye on my ears and forehead like the other salons I have been to. I traveled far and my visit was well worth the trip. I will be returning for root touch ups for my color as needed. This was the BEST experience I ever had, thanks to Patou and her team of stylist. Merci/THANK YOU Patou!
In short day trip or overnight the Saco is a great place and Saco Bound has always help us have a great time with great service.
Best customer service, Best Highlights, clean and the price is right. Friendly staff. Conviniently located near the Dupont Circle metro. Highly recommend.
I'll stick to who i know....the young lady thats their needs more experience...im a black female with thick eyebrows, this is the 2nd time she has messed my eyebrows up, then she has the nerve to say who did them last time...ummmm that would be you...anywho never going there again...forestville mall, pentagon city or even dupont threading on capital hill are the best threading places to go to....stay away from kenyon st...i would give 0 stars if i could... Now i have to go out and buy an eyebrow pencil to fix what she has messed up again for the 2nd time
I had the pleasure of allowing Tawanna (Starr) to fix my hair. She was very professional and knowledgeable about what products my hair needed. I would definitely have her to style my hair again. I'm going to have some of my friends to experience her talents & skills. Thanks Tawanna
