I have (had) a auto loan with this bank and was discusted with it so I called my credit union to have my loan rolled over to my credit union. What a hassle. My credit union wrote a bank check and sent it to me with my name and citizens bank name on it, asked me to forward it, as I did. I also added a small personel check along with it to cover a per-deim. The small check was for $29.00, Thought everything was alright. Then I started to get these late charges in the mail and more statements saying that my loan was due. I made dozens of calls to the bank. The claim that they didn't get the bank check made out to them. I explained to them that it was in the same envelope with my personel check and a form to send the title to my credit union. They said that they never got it. Asked who opens the mail, they say, its automated and cant tell me. It is still not settled so I am paying two monthly car payments, one to citizens bank, the other to my credit union.
Citizens bank will not sign the stop payment that is required and noterized. The credit union will not issue a new check until they receive the noterized affidavid. Any suggestions.
I would like to express my utmost disgust and dissatisfaction with this branch. I came in on January 8th to speak to a customer service representative about a problem I was having with my new Visa debit card. To make a long story short, I have been issued two new cards, neither of which have worked. I was made to look foolish and like I had no idea how to use my card by the bank representative. I am not a dummy, I am a master degreed chemist, I'm not sure what his qualifications are though. Anyway I will be calling the highest ranking Citizens employeee I can get a hold of, and hopefully this gentleman will be promptly fired.
