Loved the food!! Fast service!!
Stopped in after a sports game, had horrible service, cold food, defiantly will not be coming back!!
I first asked Tanya... My girlfriend what she wanted to eat... She said an omlette.. So I said lets get rams horn... I was so pumped! So we call rams horn and ordered two omlettes.. I got more pumped! They asked what type of bread I wanted and everything.. They then told me 15 mins.. I was even more pumped.,, I got there maybe 3 minutes early... Not a big deal to wait.. They girl told me its on its way out... I just got super pumped... Now ten mintutes passed the girl comes out and asks if we wanted the omlette a certain way.. Which means it wasn't even started yet.. My pumpness was slowly fading... I was get aggravated as time passed.. Finally she comes out with my food apologizing saying the cook just quit... Then quickly said she was joking... Now in my head I was like "you stupid bitch, I sat here 30 mins..." Which was around like 45 with my drive time blah blah blah.., I get home to find out I only got half my omlette... Me being any kind of pump is gone... I hear by denounce going to Rams horn long story short....
Hadn't been there in almost 2 yrs. Wait staff needs more training. Food wasn't to bad, meat could have been warmer. But over all not too bad.
My husband loved the bacon double cheese burger said it was the best resterant burger he's ever had

I don't know who's bright idea it was to change the quality of food at the Big Boy on 9 & Gratiot, but they should have had a better sleep and less pills. The cole slaw recipe was awful...who's bright idea was it to change that? The service bar that use to offer chicken wings....forgot the chicken wings!!!! We heard it was because they are too expensive to add ..but yet one of the most popular items you were offering on it. Well I hope someone is happy because now we are going to another place that offers them so less money for that place and into corporate pockets. Many people we know feel the same way...so thank you to the person with that bright idea. The prices have gone up but offering less...times are tough all over. You serve the public so the public should be pleased or you are going to lose a lot of business by listening to that air head who had all these bright ideas for change. We have been going to Big Boy since I could walk in the door, but we will pick more wisely now as to which one we go to. We want the original Big Boy back. You decided to cut your losses and close many of them down here and close by, change the menus and offer crappy food in place of good food for your customers. So if you chose to run the business...please the customer first with quality, good tasting food at a good price, especially with the economy hurting us all, and they will return. You never change what is doing good or selling good as that is apparently what the customers like and are returning to buy...dah!!!!!
