If any of my friends are going to be looking for a Truck or Car, look no further than my new friend Tim Denton! Dude works harder than any car salesman Ive ever seen. I don't want his head to get too big here, but I did see the 37 salesmen of the months awards at his desk. I believe those were all in a row! Besides that, it was ZERO pressure. We talked before I got there, soon as he saw me, he took me right to the truck, gave me a tour of the truck, then tossed me the keys and told me to take it for a spin. It was really nice doing a test drive by myself so I could drive it the way I drive without worrying about riding with someone I don't know well. To top things off, he had the truck gassed up, threw in some floor mats, and then even knocked some more cash off! I talked to him last night until 10pm, then he was back at the dealership at 6am this morning, and now he is working tomorrow for his clients. I truly believe this guy when he thanked me for my business. Tim just gained a customer and a friend. I highly recommend him and 5 Star Ford Lincoln in Warner Robins.
Tim Denton greated my wife and I when we were looking at F-150 XLTs. As a pleasant surprise, Tim Quickly set up an XLT and a sport side-by-side and opened all the doors, the hood and even the gas door. Tim went through the features and differences that was very easy to understand. We test drove all three variants of the engines (2.7L, 3.5L, and 5.0L) and he had the next truck ready upon our return. When we decided to negotiate Tim was very professional and never applied any pressure but was prepared for all questions we had. The truck we wanted wasn't available at 5-Star and he immediately started searching for one and found what we wanted near Atlanta. Tim had us a deal within minutes and set up the delivery the following day. He also guided s through the purchase process with Mike at 5-Star who also made the process very pleasant. I've purchased 9 vehicles from dealerships over the years and NEVER have I had such a great experience as I did with Tim and 5-Star. Tim is the Ace of Spades at 5-Star Ford!!!!
Unbelievable service and professionalism! I recently had a couple maintenance issues with my wife's 2004 Nissan Pathfinder which required me to take it in for service. Initially, an on-base mechanic (I'm in the military) recommended that the issue potentially required an evaluation by the local Nissan dealership's service department. However, I hesitated due to previous less-than-stellar (and expensive) experiences with the same dealership. On a whim, I decided to swing into the local Warner Robins, GA Express Oil Change and Service Center and was absolutely floored by their professionalism and helpfulness. The staff was extremely responsive, courteous, and honest. They immediately identified and resolved the mechanical issues and saved my family an enormous amount of money. I can't express my gratitude enough and will definitely recommend to anyone who will listen to utilize their service.
I was scared Tim Denton was going to give up on my special request. I WAS WRONG! His tenacity and persistence over a 2 week period resulted in him doing next to the impossible. Only 400 special edition Dallas Cowboys F-150s are being developed by Ford and ONLY being sent to Texas dealerships. Tim searched the dealerships for a truck and then went up and down the management chain to get one approved for release and shipment. Despite tremendous reluctance from the Texas dealerships, HE DID IT! PLEASE NOTE: Key people were not available, and where he could, he stepped in to fill their roles to complete the order. I was down to visit my grandmother and borrowed her car, the window stopped working on the drivers side and I felt it was my responsibility to fix it. I thought I would never be able to get it done before I left for the airport. But I called Rich from Mobile Window Repair on a Friday at 3pm and he had the part and came over at 4:30 that day. He took my out of town check, no problem. He got it finished in less than an hour and gave my grandmother a written warranty. I felt great that I did not leave her with a repair and a trip to a dealer. When I called the dealer just to see what it would have cost, I found out that Rich saved me over $300 and he did it in our driveway. I never had such a good auto repair experience, I wish we had it in our state.
Overall decent buying experience at 5 Star Ford. I bought a 2011 Toyota Tacoma on 4/25/2015 from Tim Denton. Tim is a phenomenal salesman! He provided great communication with texts, emails, phone calls, & videos of the truck before I purchased it. As far as the dealership is concerned, cordial and polite for the most part. The reason for the 4 star rating is due to the $899 administrative fee that this dealership applies to all vehicles sold whether they are new or used. I think this is highly outrageous!!! Most dealerships charge around $500 but $899??? C'Mon Man! So if nothing else, they will make $899 off of every customer who buys a vehicle from them. Just keep that in mind if you buy from 5 Star in Warner Robins, GA.
If you are in the marked for a new or in my case, a used vehicle, go to 5 Star Ford and see Tim Denton. You will be well treated and receive a good vehicle at a fair price. My vehicle encountered a problem before I ever left the lot. Tim made sure the vehicle was repaired, at his expense, and ready for pick up at the promised time. I was given a loaner vehicle and a full tank of gas. When I picked up my vehicle, after the repair, it too had a full tank of gas. He kept in constant contact with me regarding the repair and sent a video showing the problem had been resolved. Very few people would go that far with a customer purchasing a used vehicle. Tim Denton is the best! This is my third purchase from Five Star Ford. In May I bought my daughter a 2015 Escape and I just traded in my car for a new 2015 Ford Edge Sport. I purchased the Escape and Edge Sport from Tim and each time the experience was the best I've ever experienced from buying a car. Not only was he patient he didn't pressure me into anything and guided me every step of the way. He looks out for your best interest and I will definitely be buying more cars in the future from Tim. It was Sunday around six in the evening and my window dropped into the door. I live in a apartment complex and another tenent heard me frustrated with my window. He Checked a sticker inside his door and refererd his business. I called Rich and he explained how the problem came to be on point. An hour later he arrived and an hour after that he was done. In a short summary i got a warranty factory re-man or new factory at my choice and saved hundreds of dollars. The best part i wasn't driving around all night or the next day hoping i could get it fix for a reasonable price. Got my vote Rich!
I bought my Ridgeline in 2011 from Hughes Honda. I have had all my servicing done there . But I used the coupon for the oil change. They dont use a honda brand filter. They said I needed to change my air filter. I always do that myself I work on airplanes as a mechanic. They broke one of the screws that holds the filter housing closed. They must assume that people dont look under their hoods. They did not replace it. I have had some other issues with them . So it is time to find some place new. They do not care about you.Nice in the sales dept. And very bad service in the back.
