My, oh my! I have been "in church" all my life, but I have never, NEVER felt the presence of the Lord like I did at Second! I will not attempt to explain it, but I can assure you that GOD shows up at this church. It's the most amazing feeling, the most precious sight to behold - and I just did not want it to end. And it wasn't just me - God wasn't there just for me. HE was THERE, I'm telling you - He was THERE - and we all knew it. No whaling, no weeping, no shouting, just pure, personal, mind-body&spirit worship of His Holiness. In His presence. It wasn't the building, though it is big and beautiful. It wasn't the people - each one, including me, coming together as one big family worshipping together. It wasn't just the singing, though that was definitely a heart openener for me, and I'm sure a Summons to the Lord Himself. And it wasn't just the preaching, though it's obvious he is a learned, godly man who communes regularly with the Almighty God. I think the best way to describe it is simply to say that we were in God's House, and we were there to worship Him, and He welcomed us all. And I will never be the same. If you have any doubt, please, go experience this for yourself. Thank you, Lord Jesus.
I have never felt more loved than when I walk though the doors of Southside. I moved to Warner Robins 3 years ago and found this church by accident. I could not believe my eyes when I visited the first time, there was no judgmental glances and they made me feel welcome and part of the family. I would recommend this church to anyone looking for a REAL church.
