In the beginning of my process with them, I loved the Bridal Emporium. However today has changed my opinion of them. What should have been one of the happiest moments of life, picking up my wedding dress, was ruined by there being two giant holes in my dress. While I let that go after being upset since they were going to repair it that day, when we came back they were so incredibly rude. The employee was talking so loudly the members of my bridal party who were at the front of the store could hear her barking orders at us. Once I negatively reviewed them on their Facebook page. They commented with a response that should have been their response at all times. I have been a General Manager for ten years. You should re-evaluate the way you treat your brides. Your motto says you are making every girls dream come true. Well you didn't with mine. My sister is battling cervical cancer. Her and my mother live out of state this was the only moment I had to share with them in planning my wedding.
I went with my best friend to her final dress fitting today, 2 days before the wedding. A good experience so far went horribly wrong today. The dress that required 4 separate fittings had a hole in it that we, as the bridal party, found. The seamstress automatically blamed the bride for ripping it when trying it on, leaving her in tears in front of everyone in her bridal party. They agreed to fix the hole in an hour and they'd call when it was done. An hour and a half later we call to find out that it had already been done for a bit. When we get back they tell us that there were actually two holes that were patched with lace from the hem. The seamstress proceeded to yell at the bride, sister, and mother, about how they need to pull it up. The rest of the bridal party could hear her yelling from the front of the store. On top of it all, the alterations coast almost twice what was quoted. Avoid them at all costs to avoid heartbreak.
My bridesmaid dress from here ripped after 3 hours of wearing it before we even got to the reception when I called and explained what happened that the zipper didn't rip the seam let go the own informed me she was sorry but it was a manufactured error! She then said I could bring in the dress and they would fix it but that's all that would be done then told me the conversation was over and hung up when I called back she was unavailable.
