Sure you pay here in one month what you might pay for an entire year at 24 Hour - but you can't compare the two. People who tell me "I can't believe you pay that much - my gym is only $10 bucks a month" need to come by for a visit. They'll change their mind. Plus can you put a price on exercise - I'm much more motivated to go here with the lemon water, friendly staff, open equipment, easy parking, etc. than an over crowed gym where I have to work in the rotation with some dude who looks at himself in the mirror to much.
If you are in the area I would suggest at least getting a tour. At the end of the day the cost per month equals one night out in Walnut Creek anyway.
Started my membership since September 2011. I love this place. It is upscale and have quality service. I don't mind the cost since it serves the upper clientele. I don't like it any cheaper since it will invite general masses of 24 hour fitness.
The staff here are friendly and especially the latinos staffs who goes far beyond to help you of what you need. I don't know what will happen to me and alike if it wasn't for this exclusive health club.
