Miramonte Land & Development Company has been in business for over 50 years, as a developer and as a manager of commercial and residential properties, including common interest developments. One of the late principals of Miramonte played an important part in developing the content of the original Davis-Stirling Act, the single piece of legislation that is most instrumental in the manner in which associations are governed today. Miramonte enjoys the respect of our clients, vendors, association banking institutions, attorneys, accountants, and other professionals. It is a respect that we have worked diligently to earn.

It is difficult to understand how a person can say something positive about this company. I spent 7 years at one of the developments they manage and I have to say it was a constant nightmare. Their associate and representative at the board meetings with Gayla Amos, a person with several deficiencies in the self control department. They let the board do as they please, the representative is supposed to be there to support them. The neighborhood was run in a chaotic fashion, the board and their friends were allowed to make the rules and after they made them, break them as they pleased. On my particular case, they even violated my civil rights and did not care about it. One of their false allegations went up to the DA who dismissed the case, the did not care and continue running mockeries of trials, found me guilty, and fined me 50 dollars. Only a warning that this action was not covered by the malpractice insurance the neighbors pay for them and they were faced with a jail term they stopped. But soon they found another way to harass me. They turned the development into a ghetto, a place where you don't want to live. They don't care, they know the insurance will pay for whatever and that they can use expensive lawyers, the community affords them. Stay away from any development this company manages.

Excellent company to work with. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable management company. They have managed the HOA I live in for years now and they always seem to go the extra mile to make sure any issue I had was taken care of in a timely matter. They are always so friendly and happy to help! AWESOME STAFF YOU HAVE THERE! :)

One of the worst companies I've had to deal with. Unfortunately, my HOA uses Miramonte as their management company. From the day I moved into my home, they have been the most non-cooperative, unresponsive, unprofessional company. When attempting to contact anyone in the company, you encounter the receptionist from hell. She is very rude and argumentative. No one responds to voicemail or e-mail. Because my HOA dues are on autopay, I usually don't pay attention to the monthly statements. Apparently, they decided to switch financial institutions, but instead of notifying us in a separate correspondence, they just added the information to the regular statements. As a result, I was 2 months in arrears before they sent me a nasty collection letter stating they would charge me a bunch of fees if I didn't remit payment. When attempting to contact them, they told me they sent the letter to get me to call them. Now call me crazy, but I would think a phone call or an e-mail from THEM would have sufficed instead of upsetting me. Additionally, they twice accused me of leaving my garbage cans out when it was my neighbor, and sent repairmen to my house unannounced. They never bothered to knock on the door or ring the bell, and scared my son half to death. Then when they were done, they left a mess and didn't bother to put our stuff back the way they found it.
