Ajisai Japanese Grill & Sushi

This is the best Japanese restaurant in the world. The service is quality, the waiters are genuinely friendly, and Wayne always remembers what I order. The spicy mayo is heaven sent, and the place is very sanitary. It's affordable and much more welcoming than a lot of other restaurants in Walnut Creek. I go at least 3 times a month. You won't regret eating here.

I usually like to wait until someone has tried a sushi place before I try them but I have really been craving some good sushi. I was really disapointed, I had a cucumber salad with shrimp, cucumbers were really wilted and the shrimp was tough. Then I had two different small rolls, one spicy tuna and one raider roll (that has albacore, avocado and green onions), the rice seemed a little old, it was only 11:30am and should have been just made. Both rolls fell apart easily. Although the hostest was very nice I would not go back.
