Don't patronize this store. The really large guy at the cash register has a not friendly and "I don't care if you come here or not" attitude and speaks in a not friendly way. The two people ahead of me, who were caucasion, was treated in a very courteous manner. When I was waited on, and I am of color, I had gotten a totally different reaction from this guy, and this was not the only time. It seemed like a very predudiced attitude. That's sad. Everyone's money is just as good as anyone else's and he should be glad its being spent there. I came from out of town and will go elsewhere next time, and I told others not to go there as well. It's so sad that people like that still exists.
18. Duplin Winery
They have a great selection of wines along with daily tours, tastings, and a bistro on site. Great way to spend part of a day.
Good selection and clean store. However, that does not make up for the customer service. No smiles, no friendliness, not even a thank you for your patronage. They act like they don't care if they wait on you or not. Also, had extreme rudeness from one employee which seemed to be racially based. My advice, go somewhere else. They will take your money, but won't appreciate it or be polite. Latinos are not welcome here, and you should not spend one dime of your hard-earned money in any establishment that would condone this.
