Waianae High School maintains a library that offers books, magazines, reference materials, and online search engines and databases, as well as tutorials and research tools. The school also provides opportunities for students to participate in a range of extracurricular activities. It offers several sports activities, such as baseball, basketball and soccer. Waianae High School administers the Army Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps Program, which was established in 1981.
