Walked into store this AM. Two employees in office area talking and laughing. No other customer in store but me. Not one time was I greeted like should be. Haley waited on me when I was ready to check out. Not a very friendly or clean looking business.
This store sucks!!!! They sell expired milk!!!! And didn't want to refund my money!!! Called spoke to the so called owner he said he bought it at Walmart and it's not his fault!!
This is my favorite HEB. It always has what I need. It's location is within blocks of my house. Employees there are great too.
Have a really good selection of Baked goods & fresh meats, like ground lamb & ground bison too. Great prices on a gallon of milk of a certain brand: less than $2.00
Riding Carts always die out after only going a short way. I have had to switch out carts 3 times and the wait is terrible waiting for someone to switch carts . Waste time shopping or trying to shop.
The staff is friendly and attempts to be helpful. Unfortunately, there is a frenetic level of activity at all times- even when there are no customers awaiting service. Confusion reigns. The projected wait is "15 minutes" and this holds true whether you stay in the waiting area, go to a different part of the store. pre-order via internet or give the pharmacy a full day before returning for the medication. Complication include- inability to find the prescription /renewal, cross communication among the very numerous staff persons or simple inability to find the medications and paper work regardless of time lapse. While the staff tries hard, shopping at this pharmacy is a labor-intensive experience best passed up.
Because of its abundance of budget-friendly options, top-notch employees, pristine appearance, and ample choices for seating, Bear Nutrition is the perfect choice when trying to escape from the monotony of on-campus dining.Bear Nutrition renders a new, healthy, and affordable take on the typical fast food diet. Their main menu item is a protein-packed shake that suppresses hunger for hours and increases metabolism rates at the same time. With an array of delicious and affordable options, there is something for every college student on a budget. Each shake averages less than 300 calories, and is chalk full of protein powder and vitamins to add extra health benefits. And on top of the remarkable amounts of healthy and delectable choices, the price is unbeatable as well. Averaging only $6.50 for the entire meal, it is substantially cheaper than the $8.75 that the dining halls charge for lunch. Along with an unconventional and healthy meal, friendly employees with a deep attention to service is what you will find when you walk through the doors. The people who work at Bear Nutrition love what they do and believe whole-heartedly in the product they are providing. Many of them are personal trainers as well and are dedicated to living a healthy lifestyle beyond the benefits of Bear Nutrition. Overall, Bear Nutrition lives up to my expectations of a quality restaurant. It offers something totally different than the monotonous dining hall experience, and allows students to experience a new and healthy take on fast food. While Bear Nutrition’s affordable options will never bore, and their caring employees are guaranteed to brighten up anyone’s day, the clean and inviting space is enough to convince any college student that there is more to life than the dreary On-Campus Dining Halls. So rather than heading under I-35 to “Fast-Food Island” or struggling through another gloomy lunch in the Penland cafeteria, why don’t you take a walk on the wild side, also known as La Salle Avenue, and try something a little out of the ordinary?
