The front desk girl is always rude and replies with very condescending and snarky remarks, and I don't know if she even has teeth because I've never even seen her smile. This happens every single time I've been in there. You have to constantly and repeatedly hound them to get things fixed or corrected. And me actually being a good tenant their inflexibility and lack of compassion was disgusting at best.
I have always had the best of praise for the company and it's staff. Met the owner , once or twice, and he was genuine and sincere. I am completely satisfied with the company.
They are rude, lazy, unprofessional business people who don't care about anything other than holding on to their money. They don't keep up with maintenance with their properties and barley mow or trim hedges. When you ask for maintenance to come out and fix something, you have to send email after email requesting, sometimes for months, and usually they come up with a reason why they cant. Do not rent from them!
My experience with Bluebonnet at Waco was very negative. They didn't honor the contract as signed. They let the renter destroy my house and gave the deposit back without charge them for broken window , screens, holes on wall, broken sprinklers, etc, etc. Don't recommend them for your property management.
Dustin at the Conine Group was awesome! He found our family the perfect home in the Ballentine area. Low pressure, hard working realtor.
Let's go with the one positive thing about this company first. Charlie, the guy who repairs homes for Meadows, is responsive and easy to work with. They had us sign a lease agreement to never smoke on their property but when we arrived in town (it was a cross country move) the property smelled like an ashtray. They baulked at everything we asked them to do to fix it and in the end just to keep our furniture from being ruined by the smell we paid for half the painting of the house and for the air ducts to be cleaned to the tune of $2500. They should be ashamed of their behavior. And it hasn't gotten better. By the time we got to town we had no other living option so are current customers. I will repost if they decide to make it right.

if i could give them zero stars i would - do NOT rent with them.- they refuse to accept anything other than checks for rent or apply a ridiculous charge to using online payment (it's literally $30 to use a credit card)- they will not help you with most of your maintenance needs if something is broken, or if your leg is broken and you cannot do things like change a light bulb out of a broken fixture. a fixture that was broken in the first place that they own.- they will charge you for most of your maintenance even though it's something of theirs that is broken. they will refuse to tell you how much it will cost.- the staff will not answer your questions, and will generally be rude- the staff will hang up on you purposefully- sometimes they close earlier than stated so even when you do drive all the way to their office you can't talk to them- and since i'm moving out soon, i'm sure they will try to charge me for things that don't exist.
We have actually gone to court with these people and because they don't like the judges ruling they will threaten and verbally abuse to try and get what they want. Greediest people ever, especially the owners wife!
AVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH FM SHORT AT ALL COSTS. Harassing tenant, blatantly claiming mold in unit does not exist, refusing to refund rent for a place that was not only not move-in ready but was also MOLD INFESTED. Cursing at tenant and harassing from personal cell phones. Disgusting. Not even socially acceptable, much less professional. Terribly disappointed.
