Very good food and service, I love their vegetarian pizza! I recommend this place to everyone I know!
On a scale of 1-10, might give it a 2. Have eaten here for years at a kid from Waco. Used to always be good but today it's gone downhill. They nickel and dollar you to death, service means move you in and out fast, two breakfasts with coffee..... cost us $35, nothing extra for a "greasy" breakfast. Sorry will change to IHOP on future visits to hometown. Adios Pancake House! Cashier, greeter Ha! He’s a grumpy old man that wants you to shove some greasy food down ur throat, pay him a high cash price and move on. God forbid a customer who has a question about his/her bill! To bad....look else where.
Had take out, ordered chicken fried steak and no gravy on none of the orders. Dog ate well. To made to ever go back.
I am very disappointed at the Bj's in Waco. When you walk in the door and they take you to the table they say "Make sure you get your sample beer." Then when ask the waiter for the beer they say no we have a sampler that you get. Then when you order food and you should get some type of break and you ask they charge 3.00 for it. They always have a person who works there sitting at a table with a lap top and talking loud to the employees on how they are doing. I have given them three tries and I am not happy. I can go eat at Texas Road house and get free bread and a LARGE stake for 15.00. Sorry they came to Waco. Not willing to lose money. VERY VERY disappointed.
The salads, desserts and drinks are all great!
Went here expecting a lot more I guess. 1: It would had been nice to have enough light to read the menu. 2: It should be a must there for the employees speak understandable english, we are in America. 3: Kinda way over priced. We had tow steaks, water, BBQ oysters and two beers. Not worth the $145.00.One would think that with the reviews this place would be a ☆☆☆☆. We weren't that impressed. Wish Steak & Ale was still in business. They could learn something on atmosphere. Save your money and go to Texas Roadhouse or Hooters.
Angry, hot, horrible attitude, over seasoned, bad service, pricey, dishonest about receipts and money
We went to Chedars in Waco yesterday and I couldn't even eat the food that I got. I asked for no salt on anything and the Onion Rings were loaded with salt and the fries were full of it. The Monte Cristo as greasey don't think it was drained at all brought home half of the sandwich for the dogs. My husbands sandwich was full of salt too. I think their recipe base is SALT. not good for a hart patient
I would give Lula Jane's a 10 star. Baked goods are all awesome. I think I have tried 25 items and all are fantastic. Husband loves coconut cream pie. I love the sausage breakfast quiche style pie. The sweets are all unique and glorious. Great pricing, great atmosphere. My husband and I try to go every time they are open. I bring the breads to daycare for my daughters class-they love the zucchini bread. I bring the breads to faculty meetings, and Providence hospital nurses-all love Lula Jane's and light up when you say you are bringing in food from there. I love the gingerbread cookies which I thought I would not, all is scrumptious, made from scratch the old fashion cooking way, no skipping corners, no skimping on ingredients, eat there, you won't be disappointed, come early they have limited parking, and limited seating, but this is just because everyone wants to eat there all the time. I have not eaten lunch there, but all other items.
Very friendly service! Great food. Great portions.Leave satisfied and knowing I got my money's worth.
