I went in to get what I thought was a new belt. I was told that my Tensioner was loose and that their mechanic wasn't there. I leave my car overnight and around 8:10 I get a call that the repair will be 100 dollars to fix. Sometime later I get a call that supposedly my Tensioner fell off and that the bolt is broken off in my engine. This is a 1100 dollar plus repair that they can't even do. My car was towed to a shop that specializes this kind of work. I was told the bolt appeared to have been turned to wrong way and that is why it broke off. You can determine that by how the break looks. I confronted the owner/manager about this and he keeps sticking to his story that the Tensioner fell off. He will not admit his shop made a mistake and will not turn it into his insurance, which he could easily do. I tried to go through their so called corporate site. I finally called another Kwik Kar and this is what I was told. Their corporate office will not do anything. If you file a complaint, they won't even look at it nor will they even contact the owner. I have since found out that a friend of mine went in to get some work done to his car. They drained the oil out and didn't put any back in. The almost caused his engine to burn up. Oh, I've been going to them for over 5 years for oil changes. Just know this, if they screw up your car, you are out of luck. Avoid this place at all cost. I wish I had. Not even 1 star, YP won't let you post Zero.

Do not take your car here. I took my car to get it fixed because it was overheating really bad. Before I drove it off I payed them $154.00 for the repairs, and they told me they fixed it and then they let me drive it off. About ten minutes into the drive home my car overheated really bad. When I opened the hood the radiator cap was off and laying in the hoses and wire. It left me stranded. I had to wait for the car to cool down, so I could put some water in the radiator. I called them and told them that they left the cap off of the radiator and they told me that the radiator cap being off did not cause my care to overheat. It was a Friday when I picked it up so I had to go with out a car all weekend. I called on Monday morning and told them I believed they were liable and they towed my car and said they would do what they could. Then they called me later in the day and said that the coolant fans were not coming on, and that was the cause of my car heating up. I am having to take my car somewhere else, and pay them to fix my car.
