They are rude, irrational, irresponsible, unprofessional, mouthy, over-emotional, tempermental, very low class, insulting, sorry excuse for a cab company, dispatchers and drivers that I have EVER seen! They should be closed down!
Used the service twice. Drivers are either nice or bland in demeanor, but the company owner/manager is a real scumbag.They put all the other cab companies in town out of business, either by classic capitalism or bribing a local politician. Either way, we have a saying here in Waco : Yellow Cab is the only cab company in town, and boy don't they know it! Took a round trip to and from Walmart. One driver was nice, other was a creeper, station manager : rude, inhuman, cruel. Bill was paid post trip, no cash up front.Then 2 days later, my wife goes into the ER for a broken leg. Got there by ambulance. Call the station operator, explain to him the full situation. He demands cash up front.When I recount to him that our two previous business transactions did not require cash up front, he makes up an excuse "the drivers determine how and where we get paid", which was absolute bullsh*t since in my previous conversation with a driver, cash is NOT required up front. Spoke to an ER nurse at Providence, and she confirmed that she has NEVER heard of cash being demanded up front.After arguing for another ten seconds, he eventually tells me that he will NOT be send a cab to my injured, pain striken, and STRANDED wife without cash up front, despite my urging that I have cash on my person, and that I will pay the cab driver myself, and despite my pleas that my wife has no cash and we don't have a car.Like I said, they are the ONLY cab company in Waco, and they know it. Any company would jump to capitalize on the situation. But not Yellow Cab of Waco. No competition means they can treat their customers like dirt, because they know there customers have no where else to turn.If you see a review that has nothing but rainbows and sunshine to say about this company, it was probably written by the company's owner !
Waco needs to open another taxi buisness they are very rude will say they showed up and never come, my last wait was two hours and twenty minutes. waco isnt that big very sorry!.
What a mess, they have 3 cabs( so the dispatcher told me ) in a town with over a hundred thousand people in it. My sisters and I decided to leave our car at the hotel because we where going to have a drink with dinner and we had never been to Waco the service dispatched a car rather fast and we had a nice ride to dinner but we had to wait over an hour when we ask them to pick us up. what a joke !
