I made my last review in 2015, and I'd been going there for six years EXCLUSIVELY then!!!!!!!!NOW ITS APRIL 2018 and I'm still an exclusive customer, and always will be, Heidi and her husband are like family. They ALWAYS do an excellent job, and a professional one, yet they make you feel at home!!!!!!!Someone in my family couldn't remember where I went to get my nails done, so they guessed the wrong place and gave me a $25.00 gift certificate to KP Nails, I was planning to use it for color changes only.I had clear gel on my nails I went to KP, I wanted the clear taken off and a bright pink put on, nothing else, no fill in, no Mani or Pedi just from clear to color on my fingers only, they charged me the ENTIRE $25.00, I PLAN ON CONTACTING THEIR CORPORATE OFFICE, $25.00 FOR ONLY A COLOR CHANGE IS HIGHWAY ROBBERY. Everyone in my family will know from now on what the name of MY nail salon is, and if I get a certificate for somewhere else, I'll stand out front and sell it, I'll NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE EXCEPT TO HEIDI'S AND HER HUSBANDS SALONREGAL NAILSINSIDE WALMART ON NIMMO PARKWAY. PERIOD END OF STORY. I LOVE REGAL NAILS AND WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANYWHERE ELSE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 4/20/2018 and counting.....................................I am grateful to my family member for the gift certificate, it was very sweet of them, they had no idea what would happen, it was the thought that counted, I don't want people to think I'm an ungrateful so and so. KP Nails is off Santa's good list, here's to them getting a BAG of coal for Christmas!!!!!!!!!!! If I had known it was that expensive when I walked in, I would have left and sold the certificate, and before I found out the price I gave him a tip, talk about rubbing salt in a wound!!!!!!!!!!!!! NEVER,NEVER,NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The parking was not explained prior to arriving and only vaguely done upon arrival. The staff were disorganized and LACK customer service. It was just a strangely unpleasant experience. I certainly will not be returning. Very demanding on the amount of tip THEY feel is appropriate.
DON'T DO IT! I spent $45 for a Groupon (Shellac nails and pedicure). The nail Tech took 1.5 hours on my nails alone because the Polish kept bubbling and she kept taking it off. After she was done with my nails I was done with them. I told them I didn't have time for the pedicure. They proceed to check me out stating their is a 2 dollar tax with Groupon and I needed to add a tip. I told him $5.00. The nail Tech then stated "No $10.00". I replied "No, you just spent a hour and a half painting my nails, you cut my finger and my other finger is raw from wiping acetone on it 15 times". Needless to say I will not be going back. I wasted money because I didn't get the pedicure. However, I rather lose the money than dealing with that foolishness any longer.
I am highly disappointed! I called 4:22pm on 10/11/2016 to make an appointment for a couples massage. The appointment was made for 10/12/2016 @ 11:00 am. My husband and I arrived early for our appointment as was told that we would have to wait until 1:00pm to receive our massages because there wasn't any one there to do them. I told them that we couldn't wait that long because we were traveling back to Maryland afterwards. Then they said that we had missed our appointment yesterday. I showed them my phone which clearly verified the time and date that I called to make the appointment. I called at 4:22 pm yesterday to schedule a 60 minute couples massage at 11:00 am this morning. How could i have missed my appointment? Long story short, it was an anniversary gift that I wanted to give my husband since he had never experienced a professional massage. I regret ever calling there. It ruined my day and ruined my anniversary gift!!!!
For my birthday I got misled and ripped off $60. I made the mistake of telling the man I didn't ever get my nails done and I was an easy target. He led me to believe I was getting gel on my toes and hands. I returned today because my toe had already chipped plus there's a big gap on at least 4 fingers with the gel. I told the owner what happened several times and she said she didn't know what happened after I just explained. She was the one who informed me that I did not have gel on my toes but she refused to correct the problem and instead wanted to argue and fight with her customer.
Best thing about this salon was some of the customers in it. This is probably THE worst, if not one of the worst, manicures I have ever received. AFTER I declined (multiple times) to get Gel as I politely stated I wanted to keep my nails healthy, l the woman (who goes by Hannah) kept telling me how bad my nails were as she proceeded to file the tops and poorly file the shape of my nail completely wrecking what were fairly healthy nails. Hannah clipped away enough "cuticle" and skin to create a small human so now I can look forward to hang nails for the next few weeks and the best part so I wouldn't be disappointed with any inconsistency, she finished with old polish that she recommended instead of the color I picked so they don't even look ok. Literally the worst polish job I've ever received. I love paying $15 to come home and have to redo my nails. Lesson learned for me, you get what you pay for.
I went know here the other day for some R&R, they were a little busy but I was still taken in time for my appointment for my manicure and my pedicure. The pedicure chairs were brand new and I loved them. Both my manicure specialist and pedicure specialist were amazing. Can't wait to go back !
This nail salon is a hidden gem! The pricing is VERY affordable and they really do GREAT work! What I really like about the salon is that the repeat customers are remembered by name and have real conversations. It's no wonder they're always busy... but booking is pretty easy.
Rude employees - including the owner. Feels like they are talking about you instead of to you. They seem to make their prices up as asked and do not communicate what the customer wants - Next...
