Recently went to lunch at 3 Amigos, was my favorite place for a long time. Dont know what happened, but the mexican flavor was not there, the service was slack, and the waitstaff was loud. (the waitstaff was sitting in a booth beside just goofing off and laughing, while several tables were dirty and needed tending). Not going back for a while. Obviously the owners have grown tired of the place, or maybe its just new owners without a clue.I'll give it a few years and try again.

This is what Virginia Beach is trying to show the world about how having fun in a fabulous environment is all about. Skybar is totally outstanding. Oh yes it is.
Make sure you count your change at the bar. The bartenders will steal 10 dollare from you any chance they get. Then their bald boss will call you a liar and possibly kick you out. They will kick you out for pretty much anything.
I myself was a little intoxicated. I accidentally tripped while line dancing, falling into another girl who was with a group of friends. They initiating an issue with me because I didn't apilogize to their liking. Me being out of it shoved the girl causing drama with me (which I take full responsibility of) however as soon as the bouncer got in between us he began being very rough with me, and pushing me around. I am 5'6 and approximately 145 pounds and this bouncer was 6 foot and twice my size. In turn my husband did intervene to get the bouncer to stop being so rough. At this point several more bouncers got involved and one bouncer punched my husband in the eye, causing it to bleed perfusily immediately and when my husband began to defend him self another bouncer choked him out until he passed out. At this point I'm irrate, screaming to stop while 5 of them caring my husband out. He still has hands prints around his neck from the bouncer and a split eye brow and black eye.
Food was ok. The plate was hotter than my food. The guy server was nice and refilled my drink without asking so that's a plus. The host was iffy, threw my menu down on the table.
Normally I love this place. We did take out tonight. I was so disappointed. My carnitas were so dry. I've had them before and normally they are great. I called, but all I got was an "we're sorry". Disappointed in the food and customer service now.
The best mexican I have found since moving to virginia beach. We get food here every 2 weeks and they haven't failed us yet.
My husband and me are from Mexico went to Keagan's because our daughter has cancer and we learn that the owner's daughter had a similar form of cancer. Mr. Fout came out, while adjusting his fly to greet us, with a cheap bottle of wine I might add. He was about 5' 7" and must have weighed over 350 pounds easy. I guess eating at Keagan's daily does have its disadvantages. We tried the dip, which was a bit greasy and COLD! But the creepy part was the owner Geoff Fout kept trying to get my 6-year-old son to come to his office by himself to show him his vintage collection of Boy's Life magazines. Well, I said no, so instead Mr. Fout took a seat next to Miguel and said that he was a practicing masseuse and that he loved to give young boys massages while in his office. That he had bought a special table for his unusual past time. We decided that we had enough and thanked Mr. Fout for the cheap Chianti and left in a hurry, scared out of our minds. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially those with young children or boys.
There are two main reasons why I love this club so so much. Number one is the feeling while in the club...whether ate the VIP or not; it's just warm and it imbues some comfy. This makes one really get loose and dive into that moment of fun; and of course that's what clubbing is about, right? The other thing is the attention that the employees give the customers. Anything to do with an order or commotion is attended to instantly, making the customers very safe and comfortable. Forget about those clubs that tell you about VIP yet there isn't really anything special. My evening at the Mermaids Gentlemen's Club VIP provided me with the real meaning and feeling of VIP. The lightning alone plus the seats are so definitive. Drinks? Haha, order whatever you want and it will be served in a very special way by properly groomed waiters and waitresses. Sit back, relax, let loose, and have real fun. I love their women..literally!!
Great food, good service. 2 Star decor with 5 star flavor. Wait staff got our order perfect. We will be returning with friends.
