A local wonder!!!

Had dinner at Nick's and it was excellent!!! A local restaurant that people shouldn't walk by!! The ""all you cant eat flounder and fries"" was awesome!!! Nick's hush puppies are great!!! Well more in proportion's then the other crappy restaurants in the area, plus it was all fresh!!!!! So, don't let yourself go to somewhere that will rip off your wallet with the drinks alone and try nick's, a local ""mom and pop"" place that I would luv in my hometown!!!!

$11.60 for 2 pancakes, 2 eggs and cornbeef hash

Cna you believe Nick's charged me $11.60 for 2 pancakes, 2 eggs and cornbeef hash when on the menu 2 pancakes, 2 eggs and bacon or sausage is $5.95.

That is ROBBERY.

I will never go there again.

I wouldn't eat there if I was you.

I went to Nick's on Sat. morning, May 24th, 2008 to get a breakfast to go for my 14 month old son who was at the Hilton a few blocks away with his mother. Reading the menu I saw 2 pancakes, 2 eggs and sausage or bacon for $5.95. I ordered 2 pancakes, 2 eggs and CORNBEEF HASH and was charged $11.60. I asked ""What in the world did I order"". The lady at the register actaully began to justify $5.65 more for this breakfast with CORNBEEF HASH being the only difference. The only way I can see this is that the cost of CORNBEEF HASH is $5.65 plus with this order. Or, each item is $3.86 each.

You, me and Nick's, who was given an opportunity to re-calculate, know this just wasn't right.

As a new Virginia Beach resident, whom was ROBBED in NICK'S, will never set foot in there again and will tell everyone at my office on Laskin Rd. and everyone I meet from now until.
