Overall
Please do your research before...

BUYER BEWARE: Could also be doing business as Aqua Pools & Spas, as well as Beach Aquatic Pools in Virginia Beach. Please do your research before doing business with this pool co. It's been 5 months & our pool project is still incomplete. First red flag, they don't give their full names on their website, contract, etc. John Jiannine (sales), owners: Jeremy Martin & Chris Fowler of Virginia Beach. Also see reviews for Sea Breeze Pools & Spas, Trident Pools and check the DPOR.com site. Numerous complaints and suits filed against Mr. Jiannine, co-owner of Sea Breeze Pools. Mr. Jiannine & Mr. Martin were working together under Trident Pools, which has since gone bankrupt. Now doing business as Designer Pools & Spas. Interesting to note, they open pool businesses and change names often. In 2014, while building our pool, they opened two new businesses in the names of Aqua Pools & Spas, as well as Beach Aquatic Pools in Virginia Beach. They operate on an installment plan. With each installment you give, plan on not seeing them for 30+ days. Many excuses offered as to why they are unable to come today, along with promises to finish. Be prepared to get strung along. They've abandoned our pool job. This is what are hard earned money paid for: a leaking pool for a week, a crooked ladder in the deep end without proper plates, no plates around the skimmers. Piped for a pool fountain, but never installed. Left half a fire pit. Concrete already cracking in several locations. Also, have not received colored lenses for the lights, ropes, floats, maintenance equipment, etc. Now left with hiring additional subcontractors and more money out of pocket to fix what they've left undone or installed incorrectly. Completely left our yard in shambles, trash everywhere, boards, clumps of concrete, etc. Had to make several hauls to the dump and re-hire & repay the grading contractor to grade our backyard so our fence could be installed. Scary thing...they're still soliciting new business and recently attended the 2014 homearama.
