Doctor Johnson and his staff are awesome. Call him on Saturday worried sick about my Bearded Dragon, and even though they were booked he still squeezed me in. Been to many vets over the last few year and have never been happy until now! He is now my go to vet... AMAZING!!!

Dr. Johnson and his staff particularly Amy, Ashley, Kyle and Tara were wonderful addressing all my concerns with my rescue dog. They took the time to fit him in early for needed surgery and helped put all my fears to rest. I do agree some procedure could be done cheaper at another location, however, if you are a animal owner/lover like myself I tend to care more about my pets comfort and the quality of work than discounts. You can tell the moment that you walk in that they care intensely about your concerns and the wellbeing of the furry animal and I cannot say enough good things about them. I was also impressed with the detailed quote I received for the procedure so no cost was left hidden when I paid my bill. My little guy is now on his way to a recovery and hopefully this will be the end of addressing his aliments from abuse and neglect from his previous home. Thank you!!!

I worked for Dr. Johnson at Birdneck Animal Hospital for 3 years. I worked all aspects of the job, including reception, veterinary assistant, as well as managing the clinic. I highly recommend Birdneck Animal Hospital to anyone looking for the utmost care of their pet. Dr. Johnson gives the most thorough, comprehensive exams on patients that I have ever seen. I've been to other clinics, having had pets my whole life, and no exam has come close. Dr. Johnson gives dedicated one on one time with each patient and their owner, and is always courteous and compassionate. Dr. Johnson has a small group of employees, which are exceptional. The clinic has a family atmosphere because of this, and you will be remembered and greeted with a smile each and every time you visit.



Dr. Johnson runs a full service hospital. He will see your well pets for routine exams and vaccinations, as well as seeing your pets if they are not feeling their best. Surgeries, blood-work diagnostics, laser therapy, x-rays, ultrasounds...the clinic has everything you will need.

Was lulled into a false sense of friendliness. Last week my old cat started wobbling. Frantically went to Birdneck Animal Hospital Initial x-rays showed hip displacement and arthitic back (that should have been the end of it), but no it wasnt....in our distress we agreed to tons of unneeded tests which brought the cost over $650. All tests came out normal (of course). Next week our HEALTHY dog was scheduled for a ROUTINE checkup. More tests were made without telling us how much they would cost, so we assumed it was included in the wellness fee. Nope, duped again. Each test averaged $27 One unneeded test included kennel cough vaccine (my dog is not groomed, nor stays in a kenned, nor is around other dogs). ....So without telling the costs of the tests, yet schilling them as NEEDED I was left with a $300 bill on a ROUTINE wellness exam. Doctor would not even giver her the rabies shot she needed in a month!!! He said we had to come back, thus insuring we have ANOTHER vet visit fee on our hands. 14 days, 2 animals (both are healthy) has totalled a WHOPPING $1,050.00 This clinic wiped out my savings on two healthy animals in two weeks!!! And now they want MORE money for their rabies shots. Im staring at the paperwork and just crying.
