I've been bringing my car to them for years now. What I love about them is that plenty of times I've brought the car in thinking there was a huge problem, and they could've charged me a couple hundred dollars doing nothing, but instead they were honest and didn't charge me at all. The first time I came in was when one mechanic shop wanted to charge me five hundred dollars for some non-issue. I brought the car to Automotive Remedies for a second opinion and told them what the first shop said. That's how I found out that the first shop had made up the name of a part and was going to do nothing. My cars been running fine for years after, so it seems that Automotive Remedies was right. More recently, I brought my car in thinking that I had a radiator leak due to stains on my driveway. The head mechanic, Damion, showed me that it was actually my condenser and didn't charge me a dime. Again, they could've charged me anything, but they chose to be honest instead.

Damion was able to assist me in figuring out exactly what the issue was with my car, and helping me to get the issue resolved as fast a possible within my budget. New to the area, and in the military. Came to Automotive Remedies because of the reviews, and I can say I will be using them again if I ever have an issue with my car.

Very friendly and up front about what needed to be done and how much it would cost. They do groupons, too.

I am writing this review after our first visit to Automotive Remedies. Damion and his team fixed my wife's 2001 Jaguar S-Type at a FRACTION of the cost quoted by the local dealer's service department, this after he helped diagnose the problem over the phone. He also gave us tips on starting the car until it could be fixed. His diagnosis & estimate over the phone were accurate and very timely. (The dealer service dept had the car for over 3 business days before they could/would say what the problem was. The problem was not exotic and was a part that commonly fails in vehicles this age.)



I am very glad we found this terrific auto repair shop. My wife loves this car and we're both glad to now have a great place to take it for maintenance and repairs.

These guys are AWESOME! My truck was broke down on the side of the road but I was able to get it started and into Automotive Remedies. They worked me in immediately and even stayed late after normal working hours until my truck was fixed so I was able to go home same day with it. Cost way less then I had hoped for and I love the fast service and customer care!!

When taking my car there for a inspection and brake work the owner and his mechanics were both professional and courteous.Would highly recommend to anyone in the Virginia Beach area!
